Good learning lessons - I think the kit still turned out very well for your second go - far better than my second kit fared! Here are some suggestions you may find useful - Spray cans are too imprecise - try using Mr. Hobby surfacer 1500 with Mr hobby leveling thinner instead of a spray can primer (50%-50% mix) - even the Tamiya extra fine can flood details or worse, create a coarse coat is you don’t get the distance and spray right.
Additionally, I found it way easier to paint the pylons as well as apply the panel lining before I attach them to the jet.

I started using Mr Hobby primer and varnish from the third kit onward. I was very overzealous with assembly on the A-10. The more kits I do the more I feel like I want to do assemblies by color. I would do well to spend time planning a build.
Each kit is learning to make the next kit better.
I think it looks good. It looks like it’s been to hell and back. Like in a real war.
Yeah it's good. It's just not exactly what I want. It gives me an excuse to do it again.
