I love these earrings! I almost gave up at first because it looked awful - until I saw comments about needing to use TOHO 15's NOT Miyuki 15's lol. It makes all the difference :) Thanks sooo much for your wonderful tutorials, Kelly! You're awesome!
Hello Kelly. I am new to seed beading and have tried several tutorials to seed bead bezel a Rivoli. I was losing patience and non of them worked. So glad I found this thread - I followed your instructions and the bezeled Rivoli looks perfect & is very secure. Thank you for a wonderful clear tutorial. I look forward to doing more of your project. Jay
Lovely video, I'm a very experienced beader, and have probably been beading for more years then you've been alive, LOL, and yet we always learn new tricks, and beading over the ring mandrel I believe will revolutionize my revoli setting beading experience! Blessed are the simple tricks in the life of a beader!
Sorry you don't feel well! The earrings I made are gorgeous! I used a sapphire rivoli with metallic rainbow iris beads and wore them today and got tons of compliments! They are beautiful and your instructions and demonstration are spot on. Thanks again and feel better soon!
I found your channel right now, and the videos are very clear and simple. I knitted since when I was seven years old and the "method" as it closes the knit edge is the "knit stitch" that is very similar as you close the bead ring. such a thing is when you work for peyote square, it is the same method when you crochet "granny square", you make the first row and decide the angles, in the following row you increase only in the angle. really, it's the same.
Fantastic pattern, Kelly, I just discover you can use a 2 AA Battery for the dowel, for the small stone, 12 rivoli, Thank you for all your beautiful videos, Have a nice week and take care of your throat. Monique
Hi Kelly really enjoy your videos I look forward to watching them. Love the earrings. I sure hope you get to feeling better. Have a wonderful day and God Bless
I just made this oculus earrings today and I’m so in love with them. Thanks Kelly for the very easy to follow tutorial and thanks for sharing your talent with us. I wish I could show you the earrings I’ve made.
Wish we could of seen how you tied the beads and placed them on the dowl. You are so good ! after many trays I am unable to get this accomplished . You always make your projects look so easy.
Gorgeous, I have lots of rivoli’s & I just bought one of those dowel kits after I watched a different tutorial of yours so I’m thinking I’m going to make lots of these😍
Kelly, I really love this project! Lawdy, I've got to use up a bunch of my Superduos before ordering 15 mm Tohos! 😬 I can't wait to make these earrings! I have everything except the 15's. So SOON! Thank you!
Great earrings and easy to make! I did try it with Myuki seed beads first of all and that didn't work at all, the Delica were too big to go between the 15's and they all bunched up. No problems using Toho seed beads. Thanks Kelly for a great pattern!
Your tutorials are always so enjoyable, I look forward to each one. I was wondering if you could change up the loop, and make a matching pendant? I'd try, but it would probably be a"hot mess".
Hello Kelly, first of all, congratulations for your work always very beautiful and original and thanks for sharing them with us. Then you are very good at showing the steps. Unfortunately I understand English and do not speak it. So please if possible I would need your advice: I really like your Oculus earrings and with difficulty I managed to work on the wooden round. all right until you have to sew in the round .... I can not do it when I come to tip ..... If I understand you have to sew right in the delica of the row from 4 delica and left in the last of the row from 3 delica ... Is it right ???? Thank you if you want to answer me. I hope the Google translator is not wrong. Thank you so much, a hug ...

I really like that technique for bezeling. I did almost the same thing but I added beaded feathery fringe came out good.
Kristen, the feathered fringe sounds amazing on a bezel, haven't seen that one before! ♡

Kelly I love your hair here. I love this project but I just had to compliment your hair.
I added a delica at the top of the loop to join the bezeled rivoli around the hoop, to be able to go thru it numerous times without breaking.
BEAUTIFUL Hope you feel better
Couldn’t get hold of a 1” dowell so I’m using my broom handle! It’s working really well though. 🥰
