This clip will forever be important for eternity. Every Kenyan should watch this. I salute MP like Hon. Wamuchomba. Whom history will celebrate. Dear Kenyans listen to Prof Manyora keenly he's addressed the core cancer of lack of values and common sense in Kenya's governance since independence.
I agree with you that General Ogola should have delegated the school inspection instructions from the Commander on Chief. But here is a situation where the CinC has assumed the role of Almighty and blurred the clear distinction between the military and politics. Where the CinC feels he should treat everyone else in his admin like nursery school children. Perhaps Gen Ogola felt vulnerable. Or perhaps he came from the old school where instructions from the CinC were to be obeyed, however smelly.
Whatever the case, Mr Ruto must understand that IF his admin had any direct role in the General's demise (plus the nine other soldiers), he might be flying too close to the sun and might melt
Subservient is what killed my development starting from my parents, teachers and my bosses/ seniors at my previous jobs.
This disease is so bad, because when it gets in to you it’s difficult to get it out.
I try to encourage my children to standby the truth and have no fear of another human being.
You have nailed it prof, that's what exactly killed our four Star general our son from the lake, the fear of our seniors, not telling them the truth 😢😢
May his soul rip...it was painful indeed but God knows why....Rip Ogolla
Well articulated Prof. I hope they're listening.
"Advise your Seniors truthfully without fear" - Herman Manyora. Very well put.
Good advice but will it will be termed subodination
Am very much impressed by the prof's analogy in extrapolating the phenomena that resulted in the death of Gen. Ogolla.
Welcome back prof. Manyora. We weren't very comfortable when you were away coz the people presented in your platform while you were away were very biased due to political interests.
I love your presentations simply bcz you are always NEUTRAL to opposition side & on government side & always hit nail on the head. I hope you will not run away again sir. 👍
We need more brave souls like you professor asking the question.....
Manyora is asking the questions when Ogolla is no more but he has the right to continue asking. But he forgot to ask ( he is reminded to ask) 1) who sent Ogolla to Bomas? 2) Why was Ogolla sent to Bomas?, 3) Why didn't Ogolla refuse to go to Bomas? 4) Why did Ogolla not decline Ruto's offer of appointing him (Ogolla) CDF (having compromised his professional ethics by going to Bomas). 5) Did Ogolla have to make that trip which led to the fateful accident? 6) Manyora, do you ever evaluate your clips, in my opinion you are too verbose like a laypreacher and incoherent like someone under the influence of weed. I have been asking some colleagues, is Manyaro really a full baked professor?
@@mohamedmwatuwano5526this's unreasonable to such calibre of reasoning like Professor Manyora.

Well says man of God .God blessing you and your family
Well said Professor Manyora. Indeed, the nation lost a great General in charge of our able military in a horrific helicopter crash. May his grieving family be comforted and his memories live on. May his soul rest at the Feet of our Lord & Saviour Almighty Christ Jesus, Amen 🙏🙏
Thank you Prof. always on point. Appreciate your advice.
FEAR & SUBSERVIENCE
Prof is right.
Then also Jaluo near "power "..is something scary to some tribes in Kenya
which scary....Luos mtahiriwe Kwanza ndo mfikirie kurule.
God forbid, body parts are still your concern in this error?
I hear your concerns loud and clear Prof. It's disheartening to witness a disconnect between intellectual prowess and genuine action, especially when decisions impact so many lives. It seems as though moral compasses have been set aside, and the core values that once held our nation together have been overshadowed by selfish pursuits and disregard for the rule of law.
In these turbulent times, it's easy to feel a sense of despair. However, it's important to remember that even in the darkest of moments, there's always hope. As you rightly pointed out, I sum it up by saying we're in need of divine intervention, a guiding light to steer us back onto the path of righteousness.
Prayer has always been a source of solace and strength for many, and in times like these, it's our most powerful tool. It's comforting to believe that amidst the chaos, our prayers are being heard, and that positive change is on the horizon.
Thank you Professor.
It's so painfull for somebody to die mysteriously,Gen Ogolla made me to believe watu wengi Kenya wataongoza wengi kwenda jehanamu
The fear was already installed in him by one on one questions, you wanted to block my winning at bomas? Here you are , what can I do to you?
Wonderful analysis/ commentary.
I can't agree more prof😢, well articulated and unbiased analysis.wale Wana maskio na wasikie😢
The school projects in those areas, were assigned to KDF .so ogolla had aright to inspect those project's. After completion KDF was to hand them over to the government. Its abig project schools domentries, teachers accommodations ,police stations and accommodation. Its abig project ran by KDF.
Prof... bring it on sir.... always listening keenly and attentively
A true patriot indeed. Thats the bitter truth
That's the reality mr. Manyora please keep it up
May God make our government know diplomacy and approach to cattle rustling because we haven't known exactly how cattle and human life is valued since time immemorial, God bless Kenya and God bless our diverse communities
As a Christian, 2 Samuel 3:22-39 verse on Abner the son of Ner vindicates my thoughts. Abner is Ogolla, "David" cried during the funeral, I am still wondering who Joab is.... The day I will discover him, I will be back.
Joab was the son of Zeruiah,David's sister. He was commander, covered David over the death of Uriah the hitite(he was relative and keeper od David's cupboard of bones) I hope you now know. He killed David's son,Absalom and David did nothing. Good night
In this case Joab would be Sudi, Duale or Farrouk kibet.
Most probably it could be Sudi , Duale or Farrouk kibet.
@@oderoelisha848 I know bro
Joab the son of Zeruiah? The mighty Farouk Kibet.
Bold truth to the letter, Prof! Please issue a Kiswahili translation so that we cover those they call hustlers to understand. The message is powerful, hitting the nail on the head. We're audience here for life
Comrade Professor, please run for the high office. We will fund your campaign and we will vote for you; I swear. Just declare your candidacy.

Very precise!!
Thanks indeed prof. Very well articulated 👍
Ogolla was not killed by bandits. He was assassinated and it was coordinated from statehouse.
Oops!!
True
It's easy to blame the victim, and especially when that victim has been permanently deleted. He can't defend himself. And without his input, it's a fool's errand debating abstract hypotheticals now.
The Prof. is treating the General's sad death as being the result of runaway banditry. I beg to differ. There's more than meets the eye here. That's not the direct cause. It may be the general context, but not the direct cause.
Unlike the Prof.'s assertion, I believe that the assassination was not caused by professional conduct, or lack thereof.
The reality.
We have not heard of any shooting, then how come you are associating bandits
You've nailed it Prof. and I promise myself and my children to speak their truth and point out wrong when I/they see it done without any fear. And as a child of a former military Dad I can relate to this. Thank you
Plain truth , spoken by our beloved professor the great grandson of Mzee Inyonga Hamisi Division .
Spot on Proff.Yes sir yes sir mentality reduces good competent leaders into mere puppets.
Good analysis. Who was the district commissioner that destroyed the maragoli hill forest. We must look for him to answer charges of destruction of environment. Where were the musalias who hail from there.
I was the deputy district Special branch officer in Elgeyo Marakwet between 1990-92
Wakenya wezangu ukweli Ogolla aliuwawa si ajali. Katika Africa president huuba kura na general but Ogolla hangeshirikia kuuba kura that is why ameuwawa mapema ili kura iibwe 2027.
Ogola was due for retirement in 2025 so bado hangekua 2027, bring another theory
.....you must be extremely slow in thinking and operate mainly from hearsays in a village setup. Pole.
@@AustineMalala A lot of things are happening in tandem ahead of 2027 for your information. Taking out Ogola could have been part of that plan. Without IEBC commissioners, no voter register and no IEBC chair and a president with rock bottom support its possible he would act out of desperation by eliminating the only barrier that was right at the center of the security intelligence. You get it? We know it better than you and we're smart too.
True
A very lame argument
I highly appreciate your point of view regarding the mysterious death of the general.
Good and Wise analysis. We hope to get there. Many people in countries just do the write things. This bring development.
Everyone and their dogs know what happened to Ogolla. You have to know when to exit the stage. I said Ogolla should have resigned no more than six months after he became the CDF.
True
Harman manyora you always inspire with, you have spoken the naked truth.
Excellent mr. manyora. This culture of grinning and clapping whenever the king 😅 sniffs or shouts at an imagined enemies should stop. we are not monkeys
The whole truth has come
Thank you manyora. You are a true hero. We need more people like.quran says "Speak the truth even if it will bee bitter.."
.
Point of correction it is not Quran that says, that but rather, that is prophet Muhammad's (p.b.u.h) statement.
Proff well spoken i wish you would have been the president we would have gone far the third is fear of the unknown 👊🏿👊🏿👊🏿 one day all will come to light
Me, myself, and i completely rule out the issue of banditry, please do not utter that word again
Sad,but 100% on the spot Prof. Due to fear you talked about CDF was scared of the CIC to tell him the truth.
Did you notice interior CS skipped the burial
So it's like he knew something 🤔
I think it's because he has never killed before
Don rush in drawing conclusions. I agree nothing can be ruled out in death but what we do is speculations. Perhaps the CS skipped the function owing 2 intelligence gathered prior 2 the burial.😢
@@antonynkanata1834 Which intelligence??? IG also went mum
I also skipped the burial, you were also absent, Whats your point?
Prof is saying something in a coded manner. Few will decipher. Despite an existing kind of a relationship, Opola dropped guard. My decoding.
Realities revealed for real, Shalom
Professor you don't only have knowledge but you have wisdom
Herman you are a true analyst l like your analysis
Very true professor o thoughy the general should have postponed his travel to marakwet when he realised his normal plane was not available on the particular day but this thing of yes sir and pleasing his boss cost his lofe and the rest hebwould be alive today if he said no again o dont thinknthe advisers don't do their work but who are you advising?
That's the story as told by the Government people. But in actual sense, do we even know the exact day Ogola died? Why is there no single CCTV footage showing where he was on the material day of the said death? Could he have died much much earlier than we were told? Is there any call logs that shows whether Ogola talked to any of his close friends or relatives on the said day of his death....too many things that might not work in favor of the JAMBAZI government.
We support Hon Babu
Mature advice ...Thank you Prof. 👏👏
True sir.
Proverbs 29:2 shades light into this issue, as long as this regime is in power we will incessantly suffer. The barons in the inner circle of power are aware of what transpired
Professor, while I completely agree with your respect for the fallen general, I believe understanding the situation in these hard-hit regions is crucial. Poverty and neglect have created a harsh reality for many young Kenyans who see banditry as their only way to survive. They might not have intended the general's death, but their circumstances are desperate. Perhaps considering this perspective could offer a more complete picture. Blaming banditry on a decorated, well-armed but politically-exposed General's death is a non-starter for me. Greetings from Ndeiya, Limuru.
Mwalimu! Yani wewe nigwiji. Ufafanuzi wako wa kifo cha Gemedari F O Ogolla niyakipekee. Umechambua chanzo cha kifo cha Gemedari Ogolla kwa ustadi na kwa ukweli. Asante na natumai wamekusikia.

@tfl4963 am not defending but the fact is that you guys are subjecting people as if it could be you what would you do
🇺🇸 Professor, I hear you. But prof, how come you do not see, these people you are blaming not to be advising the president were appointed by the same man. Is this not by design. For example, Sudi sits in the highest security council. As who? A makanga! Does he underdog anything, let alone the intricacies of the security challenges that Kenya faces. A fish is rotten from the head. Period.
You and Babu Owino should answer your questions
I agree with you professor 100%
BANDITRY NO!!
Whoever has the script on my community should be awarded.

If a chance comes up to clean the house, shave the head, he always picks the best from amongst us.
ruto: ogolla wanted to overturned my victory
Sudi: I'm Asking the KDF what this Ogolla is still Doing in the military Yet he wanted to cause the bloodshed
Duale: we'll Deal with Ogolla Precisely 🙄😳🤥
I rarely agree with Prof. Manyora but today I fully and entirely agree with every single word. This is Moi'sm eating this country. The dictator Moi still lives on ruling with fear.
Manyora you are a president that never got the opportunity
I like listening the mzee he is full of wisdom
All leaders in this country merely adore and glorify the leader not telling him the truth. See the crumbling education and health ministries. Postponement of reopening the school was an issue that should have divided not by the president but ps one week earlier not even the cs. We are simply subservient not willing to right decision and standby it. Very unfortunate situation indeed.
Read should have been decided. ..
Well said professor ❤
I second you mranyora you've nailed it
Tutatuma nyuki kushika wauwaji ,hatuamini uchinguzi utakao fanywa.
I know this might not fit in this video but its similar, Prof has said something that has made me feel like talking,"when people lose their loved ones, they must be given time to mourn" but when it came to Chira's case, that's where the thickness line was drawn,😢😢😢😢
General Ogolla was not killed by bandits.
Am shocked that we still think it's the bandits that killed the general.......tunabebwa malenge
Who had said he was killed by bandits?
Totally agree.
I never saw an education CS accompanying the general OT the PC for North lift 😢😢📚✍🏾🙏🏾
Manyora kindly talk of the issue of police officers confrontation with the Kenya military
"A clear indictment on the government..."
I read a coded message here only a few can decipher
Sport on prof. I sdmire the charisma of Abongo the police boss able to take measured decisions and earning respect compared to loose talks of our current police chief.
Jesus help us. May our beloved CDF Rest In Peace.
True mayora wasema ukweli mungu aendele kukupa hiyo hekima
Well said but you know no one will advise any of the seniors, because of what you correctly say: culture of fear, idol worship, insecurity aka lack of confidence, fear for their livelihoods/jobs, no duty of care eg the policeman fired for not picking underwear from the lines had no one to defend him, etc. Nchi ya watu wadogo...nchi ya mathogothanios!
Well thank you anyway I enjoyed this particular episode.
May Ogolla rest in peace 🙏🏾.
Tje boy who jumped out is the assassin
I think this where you are all wrong. Ogolla might have been aware of the plot to eliminate him. That’s why he chose to be buried the way he was buried because he didn’t want expenses to be provided by the same who executed him. Ogolla was a threat to no one.
Yeah that's why he prepared his family instructed them what to do,imagine humble and Loyal to death to appoint of bowing to assassin's mission my God.
I was in charge of the area (Special Branch) in Kainuk to Cheptulel between 1985-87
The opening of schools that Wuod Ogolla went to inspect their construction has been suspended for a natural course that is beyond any command.R I P.Ogolla
Well said man..
Prof Herman, the problem is not advising those in power, the main issue the bosses in the top of the chain think they are smarter than everyone and when you offer genuine advice that will help our society to progress, and it doesn't align with their agenda, tomorrow you will be sacked from the job. In our current society, when one attain money or influence, pride overcome them and they think they know everything. For example, how many times have our president been told the housing project is not a realistic idea from economist and the opposition, but he doesn't listen and still continues with the project. We have very many smart people in our society, but when they genuinely offer ideas that will help our society to progress, they are viewed as a threat by the bosses
President should be denied all the powers of appointing and all positions to be awarded by electoral process ,being appointed is making many to worship the appointer and work in fear not to loose there jobs
@@h.ewillymwilly9179 I totally agree. Some prominent positions requires electoral process. That way they will be fully independent
You are very right prof ,
Very well said
You are a real Prof.
Thank you Prof. We need our courage. The Mau Mau courage of sort.
Brother Manyora today you have made so much sense. However, how does the culture of fear get expunged? It's deeply ingrained and cuched as respect for authority. The class monitor, the school prefect the discipline master and even school uniform are organs of inculcating fear. Then the culture of submissiveness is the flipside of sycophancy which is a factor of patronage. How can we kill patronage in a patriarchy?
Food for thought..
Ongola knew he was not safe from the first day in office because, how can you go to repent instead of thanking your boss
Professlr, today you look really worked up! I don't blame you!
I really like the book Hamlet, it has been the best book I read last month
True True True manyora
Banditry is a common problem in the South Rift. But this problem might have absolutely nothing to do with the death of Ogola. How did such a tragedy produce survivors who were barely scratched? Don't you people think this movie was poorly scripted and poorly executed?
Sudi has something to do with Gen Ogolla’s Death
He should be investigated too, he might had the switch.,a General is killed while the Junior officer is flying out
cheesus! How did those brains go through our education system?
@@jameskiarie8230 It's actually Jesus and not Cheesus. Is that what the education system taught you? Coz Sudi never went through any education system..at least from what's available in the public domain.
