I am disabled, and so I don't get to fly anymore... however, when I heard this? I was like DAMN! where do I get one of these? I would have to find a way to build one, then get back out there. Keep working Moki, one day, maybe, one day!
I had one short flight on a DC-3. Flew from San Fransico to Boston, on a DC-10. Got off that flight and over to the commuter terminal, only to board a DC-3 of Providence, Boston Airways, or as we referred to then, Poor Boys Airways. Took twenty something minutes from Boston down to Hyannis. fun ride.
Nice video. I spent a memorable day at RAF Coningsby a couple of years ago and was taken on an hour long flight in this Dak. An unforgettable experience.
Outstanding....impressive and the sound...remarkable. So realistic... Wonderful thanks for sharing.. Do you have a video of the take off with an on board camera and sound.. Now that, would be interesting...👍👍👍👍
Thanks Cliff. Appreciate it. 13 years effort...but it's been worth it. Cheers - Dom (Essential RC) p.s. linked to your recent vid from my fb group and yt community page yesterday. Hope that helped pull in some punters. 😉
That is a great aircraft! I would've liked to see the take off and landing. Up close ground view with start up. It's a beauty. Good stuff guy's. AirHammer out!!
That's a great sound system 😁 And great flying! I wish there was a way to get it into a RC model, most sound systems I've heard, only work at short distances.
@@EssentialRC So the DC-3 is pre C-47. I've been in a DC-3 flying around the Kimberley diamond mine in RSA. Still one of my favourite planes. They were common to see flying over in the 80's.
Hmmm...a used C-47 is probably priceless nowadays Andy. Can't put a price on an aircraft with such historical significance. I suspect the maintenance up to what is required for CAA isn't cheap either.
@@andylarner3531 Gotcha! Don't see many of these as models. Did see one couple years back. 1 engine stopped and it crash landed. Twins, especially IC, can be challenging it seems. I wouldn't mind trying one though.

Good luck!
Have always loved that bird, flew in it a lot in the 60s. Sounds wonderful.
Beautiful plane, sounds superb!. Thanks for uploading the video!
My childhood memorries, hear this sound very love it

Those twin engines are beautifully made and sound great in harmony. Amazing 👻
That is some delightful scale flying 👍
Amazing

Congrats on 500,000 subs!!
This Dakota looks like it was right out of the 1977 movie, “A Bridge Too Far.” 👍🇬🇧👏
OMG MY FAVOUTITE PLANE
That sound!
Super
Nice friend 😀👍
an iconic workhorse....

Those Moki 250's sound realistic ?.
Seriously, hard to tell between this and the real aircraft.
That's because it is the real full size aircraft. I film full size occasionally.
Looks a lot like the DC-3
The C-47 was developed from the DC-3 airliner.

MB!!
awesome how much does a model like that cost all in and flying

@@EssentialRC I meant a model of the same with engines and ready to fly a real c 47 is not going to fit in my study

@@EssentialRC only ever built tall ships so nothing RC would like to try an actual flying model
Jedan takav nam treba na partizanskom aerodromu MEDENO POLJE.
