I'd love to see this as a Simpsons intro where it pulls back at the end and this is on the TV in the Simpsons living room with them on the couch watching it.

This is AWESOME! Personally, I feel that Lisa on sax was underused, but this was still great. That said, I thought the Simpsons/Cowboy Bebop crossover was Futurama...
The only thing this is missing is a couch gag atop the bebop; otherwise you could fool me into thinking this was among the coolest couch gags the Simpsons ever put on air.
Everytime I hear Tank!, it makes me always wonder what other stories would've come out of Watanabe for cowboy bebop. I can respect his reasons of not wanting to be chained to it, but he did so much world building, it's plausible to just write a new story in the same world. All that being said, considering how much of a benchmark that Cowboy Bebop is regarding serialized entertainment, and with the death of head screenwriter Keiko Nobumoto (may she rest in piece), it's something incredibly hard to live up to. Besides, all the genres and themes the show itself covers aren't make it almost come off as an anthology. Still great, but hard to top.
I think the actual show should do an opening like this. They've done almost literally everything else.
