You covered the Spring Gala with your usual high quality thanks Admiral. The weather was very kind also. Taw Valley looked amazing in black livery. Keep them coming.
Might come down if the galas still on tomorrow! Seen the Scotsman today Mike. It was amazing & watching her steam blow under the road bridge as she came towards this morning was just amazing!
I love that Taw Valley loco ... what a majestic beast hey ! Adds a real touch of Class to the WSR.... I hope it remains on that line ! I couldn't get over you putting those model carriages and rolling stock all together in a cheap plastic shopping bag !! Out here in Australia items like those second hand models fetch a fortune !! That buffet car would sell for upwards of £300 ..! I for one would never bundle many such items together... no no no 😮!! I'd bubble wrap each item and place in its own bag ... to be safe ! Great video as always Mike and Val ... if I was living there still I'd probably be there videoing the trains like you 😝😂
I don't expect that loco will stay around here for long sadly. Its like a breath of fresh air! £300! Wow that must make railway modelling a very expensive hobby down under! New models here have certainly risen in price, but not that far! That's why I enjoy finding reasonably priced preowned ones.
Another great Video from the Admiral!, I too went out early yesterday Mike, with the intention of getting my Drone up at various locations between Minehead & Williton, but that 20 minute to an hour Timetable disruption put paid to that!, so ended up with Hand-held Camera footage of 2 of the very Trains you have here in your video. I caught Erlstoke Manor between Bluey and Washford just before you caught her at Watchet and then I got Taw Valley up near Doniford halt just before you caught her just up the line. I thought then I would race back to Old Cleeve and try to get the Drone up, but the Traffic was Slow and She was just passing Washford Station when I saw her again, so I eventually got ahead of her at Dunster!, no time to get the Drone up this time either. So ended up Chasing Trains all morning. Sundays weather is awful, so really hoping Monday will turn out nice again. Although quite Slow, these Steam Trains keep me on my Toes alright! ..Looking forward to your next Videos Mike, they calm me down after my Frantic chasing around!
@@ADMIRALSCORNER Yes Mike, I saw that last night so Downloaded a copy. I see there is No Odney Manor at all today. I will be concentrating on getting the Drone shots of Taw valley I have been chasing all weekend at Black Monkey Bridge. If you see Taw Valley before she gets to Washford can you ask Val to Text me? Just so I know it's actually coming this time!
Let me correct you with a little name spelling: 7812's name is Erlestoke Manor. You got the purchase part right, you can't come away without buying a few bargains first. There are four road vehicles by my own model railway. They are thus: A Frying Tonight catering van for the Ben's Plaice Chip Shop A post van to collect the mail from the postbox A Milk Float to deliver milk and collect empty bottles A Ford Transit Pickup Truck with coal sacks to be delivered to the railway Top that if you can.
Good to see a fair amount of passengers on the WSR today and the gala is keeping you two busy but your videos are greatly appreciated, thanks both.
It certainly is. Again thanks Terry for your kind comments.

I was also very impressed by Taw Valley which looks much better in black than I expected.

I bet it was! The WSR Gala is on again tomorrow, its last day.
Loved the second hand railway shop very good prices
Steve who besides being a volunteer at the station runs that is a good modeller himself so really knows what he is doing!

Isn't life exciting! I see the published timetable for Monday has been changed at the last minute they say due to shortage of coal.

I should have checked that first! I will correct the intro.
