    I nearly fell asleep watching this, but I can vouch for the technique. I’ve never had to build a door frame from total scratch before. After two days of false starts, I followed this and was done in no more than an hour. Thanks moonlighting Elton John from the 80’s!

    These days I wedge it then using foam adhesive (NOT normal expanding foam). Absolutely rock solid and a much better hold. Yep, even stronger than nails.

      Unemployed for sure. Builders expect you to be able to set a door frame in 10 minutes.

    Wouldn't want to do that job using that method....too much hard work and long windedness!! Fully threaded screws and mdf wedges are the way to go! Foam up after!!
