    I nearly fell asleep watching this, but I can vouch for the technique. I’ve never had to build a door frame from total scratch before. After two days of false starts, I followed this and was done in no more than an hour. Thanks moonlighting Elton John from the 80’s!

    These days I wedge it then using foam adhesive (NOT normal expanding foam). Absolutely rock solid and a much better hold. Yep, even stronger than nails.

      I hung my full weight from a piece of 2x4 that was foamed to the ceiling once. Didn’t move once.
      This isn’t normal expanding down. Don’t use that.
      This is foam ADHESIVE:
      “DOW INSTA STIK EXPANDING FOAM GRAB ADHESIVE GUN GRADE 750ML”

      Unemployed for sure. Builders expect you to be able to set a door frame in 10 minutes.

    Wouldn't want to do that job using that method....too much hard work and long windedness!! Fully threaded screws and mdf wedges are the way to go! Foam up after!!
