My experience is a bit of a bummer. Love HK stuff in spite of the complaints I've heard about quality control issues with some of their products, particularly their shoes. I was excited to try these out since that issue was supposed to be a thing of the past. 1st day wearing mine was today and the sole on one shoe came unglued already. All we did was run breakout drills today, nothing crazy. Contacted HK by email and Facebook, and I'm waiting on a response. Besides that, they're comfortable, very lightweight, and look great.
Let’s be clear, some welded overlay cloth and a shoelace isn’t going to do much for “support” on your ankle. It’s much more for the look than it is functional. I really like the cleat pattern though and, for the price, they look like a solid pair of footwear for paintball.
i mean yes and no. you don't seem to play vary many sports, and more specifically fighting sports, competitors do not wrap their wrists simply because it looks cool, it can add a little support when doing something the correct way. now you are also right in that if i angle my foot so much when i run and step squarely on the side, then no i'm still going to sprain my ankle that way, but it can help keep if you say are not on perfectly even ground it can help to keep your foot from rolling TOO much.
Love hk army but I only trust Nike with my feet. Under armour, Nike, Adidas have cleat technology perfected. Think HK should have released some lifestyle canvas shoe or something.
exactly my mentality too. they have literally decades and decades of the most advanced data possible about everything to do in the world of cleats. cleats are imo the most important part of your gear and it should be the best
If I was to order these to the uk. What size would I need. For example. I wear a size 10 in the UK sizing. So I think I’d need to order a size 11 US sizing to fit me
Just got mine in the mail and dont know how I feel about them yet. They look great but they are so tight and not in the length either. I loosened the shoelaces up but they just look awful on my feet. Nothing like in the video hell I cant fully lace them up all the way. No my feet aren't abnormal or anything but it's like they are made for a very small foot. I do have wide feet so that may be the cause but I fit in other cleats that aren't wide all the time. I'm going to wear them more and break them in to see if it help in any way.
@@nastiiegaming8304 I still cant wear them my kid wears them hes 14 and they a little snug on him his shoe size is 11 and mine is 13 and the shoe I ordered is 13. He said though that they aren't as snug since he broke them in.
Cory Smith Alright thanks for the info, I am a size 8 and they say they run true to size so would a 8 be perfect or should I upsize ? You said your son is a size 11 and he wear them 13 if I’m not mistaking?
@@nastiiegaming8304 yes I ordered 13 for me and they was too tight but for him a size 11 they fit but was tight until the broke in so I tried them back on just to feel and for me it was still too tight. Also to add it wasnt the length where it was tight it was the width. I swear this shoe has to made for tiny feet or super narrow feet. I just went and got some under armor cleats and they work just fine for me.
no not at all. a cleat is not just a cleat. there has been decades of top testing and data gathering from the big guys like nike, underarmour, addidas... etc. cleats are nothing to cheap on at all

It actually does help. It's more of a compressed feel. It helped keep my feet straight more often then twisting

Kinda bummed that i cant find a size 14 white and back anymore they did look fly AF. Might have to just get the blue and purple ones.
