perfect vignettes as always - you’ve captured the dichotomy of elegance and humor in Japanese culture and design. Karuizawa is often the place city folks think of when they want to get away for sure, and I can see why. Appreciate the warmth and love you bring to Japan, the locals clearly like having you around ❤
Can't say how much gestures like this mean to us after long days of editing. We truly appreciate you. Thanks for coming along on this journey with us 🙏🤍
S O L I D!!! as usual. I was never been to Japan and it is always been my dream to visit there, your vlogs makes me love japan even more. Thank you sam and ralph❤❤❤.
What a way to end the Japan series 👌🏽🥲.. I think I found why I love your vlogs so much. It’s like you guys are bringing Japan magazines to life with these vlogs and photos. Perfection as always 💎
Sorry if you already knew, Noto is the peninsula area in Ishikawa prefecture. The area got a big earthquake in Janually this year. I guess the donut shop owner used the blueberry for supporting Noto farmers. I really love your vlog! I watched almost all of your vlogs. Thank you for coming Japan. mata kitene!
Thank you for sharing! 😊 Yes, the donut shop owner told us it is to support those affected by the Noto earthquake. They also had some donuts using salt from Noto. We always have a wonderful time in Japan. Thank you for watching our videos 🤍🙌🏻
"Nihongo-joju, joju, joju....." you made me laugh so hard, Ralph! I love this video so much. I have never been to Karuizawa, but it looks so beautiful. I think I like there more than Tokyo. Thanks for another soothing video. I loved your breakfast choice at the beginning :)
yataaaaa!! its 630am in california and right as i started boiling my water for my coffee i got this notification 😊 what a perfect way to start my work week with another Ralph and Sam vlog. i’m taking notes once again as i’ll also be back in tokyo in january !! hope all is well with the two of you~
I love the way you appreciate the local community, it is such a pleasure to see. We went there on our 25th wedding anniversary and it was so nice to be away from Tokyo for a couple of days. I did laugh when I saw Peter rabbit as I have been to the Lake District a few times. And went to the home of Beatrix potter. We are off to Osaka in a few days as second hand prices are getting out of hand now which is kinda sad.😊
That sunset at Karuizawa was yabai. Instead of saying sugoi, you can opt for a more local slang, "yabai", which is quite versatile but I prefer with simply just "kawaii" since everything in Japan is 😄 Thank you for bringing us on this journey with you both and looking forward to more adventures!
I Love, Love, Love this video was amazing It was as if I was there with you guys. Such a nice trip for you too. And Ralph you take the most beautiful pictures are you a photographer? If not I think you are. ❤
1:30 Calbee branded chips are the best! Ralph's Japanese is awesome even though you spoke the Japanlish at 6:35 😂 I speak a lot of Chinglish/Taiwanglish now and then with my parents too. haha. I totally get it. Also, Ralph looks even more like a model without trying to model at 9:45. New skin routine? 😁 I love Sam's narration throughout the video too! May I request for a 2 hour video? haha. You guys really make a great combo! The vibe, the energy and everything else! Ohhh, all those Pocky flavors! yes please! The Aesthetic photography direction in this video is so awesome! Will we ever get to see outtakes? I bet you guys are hilarious!
Back in Manila we have Taglish 😂 I guess it's a universal Asian thing. Thanks for the high praise as always! We get a kick out of it haha. Cheers Zennoodle! 🍻
You have to check that your train actually stops at Karuizawa as not all trains stop there. At KZ station, check out the tourist information outlet on the north side.
Hello! I really like the style of your videos! When you're out & about, do you have a plan as far as what you film, or do you just film everything? How do you decide what to film? Or is it just point and shoot, and add a bit of movement? Thanks! BTW...Im also a Terrace House fan! lol!
Great questions! We plan which area we are visiting for the day, but what we choose to shoot we decide in the moment. It depends on whatever catches our eye and interests us. 😊
Staff at major train stations are trained to assist english-speaking tourists. But it helps a lot to have google translate on your phone so you can still communicate with those who don't speak english well. Just make sure to download the Japanese translation pack. Good luck on your trip! 🙌🏻

Can't tell you how much this touches us. We really appreciate your generosity. Thank you from the both of us 😊🇯🇵
Spotted the terrace house date spots haha! enjoyed this vlog so much

Hands down the best travel vloggers on UA-cam. Love the chill vibe of every video! ❤
Wow, thank you for this! We both appreciate it so much 🙏 Have a great week ahead 😊
I'll always remember Terrace House Kuruizawa whenever Kuruizawa is mentioned.
my all time fave version among the whole T.H. franchise. 💖
That was the first season of Terrace House that we watched. It made us nostalgic to see some of the places they visited in real life. 🤍
@@RalphSam beautiful! 🤍

Love everything about you in Japan
We'll always find a reason to come back 🥲
Just had a short but sweet trip in tokyo after 🇵🇭 trip, enjoyed their food and shopping , mostly👍🇯🇵. Loved this video. Arigato😊
Hope you had amazing trips to both countries 🤍 Thank you very much! 🙌🏻
Planning my next trip to Japan Summer 25 and I'm so happy I discovered your channel - and this video! I will definetly be visiting Karuizawa!

happy to hear that! 🙌🏻
Very good vlog as always! I was wondering if you could share the name of the white curvy font you are using on your titles at the intro? Thank you
thanks very much! don't recall the name, but it is a free font on canva 😊
I love your videos ❤😍
thank you so much 😊
Love this vlog episode!
Thanks, appreciate it ✌🏽
love this video so much! which hotel did you stay at? it's so nicee
thank you! it's hotel indigo karuizawa 🤍
What a lovely vlog! The hotel looked really nice. How was the onsen there? P.S. When are you coming back to Japan😁🙂?
The outdoor onsen was such a wonderful experience, but no cameras were allowed inside. Still trying to plan our return 😊🤍
Nice vlog! Do you think a day trip to Karuizawa is too rushed? Thanks
in my opinion, a day trip is manageable since the ride from tokyo is only about an hour 😊
You have to check that your train actually stops at Karuizawa as not all trains stop there. At KZ station, check out the tourist information outlet on the north side.
good tip! 🚅
hello may i know which apps did you edit the video ? thankyou
