So happy to see you review this. Definitely my favorite Dior signature line. BTW, just blind bought Notorious and I have to say it such a youthful and sexy fragrance. It really reminded me of Armani Code Absolu mixed with PDM Oajan and was executed with absolute elegance. Thanks for the free 10ml of New Santal.

I went to Dior store in Bond Street. I didn’t know what to choose between Oud ispahan and tobacolor. After trying both I opted for oud. As soon as I left the store tobacolor was still smelling on me, I quickly returned to the store to exchange for tobacolor. I had shower with the spray I have tried in the store it was still smelling. You can blind buy this perfume you won’t regret.
My advice to you would be to go to a Christian Dior if there is any near where you live and try. Ispahan has been reformulated so it is very light, but when you go to store, assistants will tell you it’s their best selling perfume and has strong projection and it is long lasting. After trying both I found Dior Tobacolor stronger in both ways. When I spray tobacolor on my shirts after wearing it, the smell fills my wardrobe.
My favorite Dior Privé has always been Fevé Délicieuse but this one is giving it a run for it’s money. I hope you review Vanilla Diorama, I would like to hear your thoughts about it.
What a coincidence! I also smelled this for the first time in Doha airport a few days ago since the banners of this perfume were all over the airport haha Really glad I tried the perfume. I loved it! My clothes still smell of it I cannot believe it
I just bought this and i have a huge collection for me this is perfumery on another level i think arron is wrong about the projection it projects for hours even up to 4-5 and stays on the skin past 12 hours. If you moisturise first then this could go for 24 hours plus easy its a phenomenal fragrance
I recently got a sample of this one and I was pleased that it wasn't nearly as sickly sweet as many reviewers said it was. However, it really wasn't what I was looking for as I'm in pursuit of one that actually smells like cigar smoke. I'm actually currently working on creating one as well.
Jazz Club would be perfect for you. Bet you have it already. Smells like cigar tobacco with lil smoky/ashy n vanilla. Can you recommend one or two that have that cigar smoke?
Hi Aaron, love your reviews and all the great advice you give to us, greatly appreciated! May I ask you what percentage of BHT should be used in the final product of a fragrance?
This was weird for me because I initially tried it on a strip, and really did not like it. A few weeks later I gave it another try this time on skin and it smelt amazing. It's definitely a special fragrance, it has a lot of character and I could not stop sniffing it. I feel like this is the ultimate 'tobacco' fragrance you need in your collection. It's one I would actually wear for me, and not to smell good to others, I just love it. I am not sure it is very mass appealing though, as is the case with most strong tobacco fragrances.

This has been reformulated. Got a 5ml from decant to test and loved it. Just got the bottle from dior and its much less sweet than the original. Still good but really loved the sweetness and this is just a different thing now
I bought the 250ml a few months ago, and I might have to agree with you. I never smelled the original, but from what the reviews were saying 2 years ago, they dont sound exactly similar to what I have. It projects well, but it's not this beast that lasts even after a shower. It's still a beautiful fragrance and one the best i have ever smelled!
Nope, I Have an OG 2021 and a 2024 bottle. Identical. One thing I will say, I agree when I first opened it I thought "what have they done!".... was told to leave it for a few weeks. Came back to it and the sweetness hits just like the 2021 batch.
