Rubber bushings yeah and also the motor gets stuck dirt and eventually it also starts to have a play. For me the way to fix this permanently was replace with a brand new motor. Before, I replaced with used motor only to have problems again after few years.
Good hack there. But your vibration problem just looks to me because of those badly worn out 4 rubber holders on your old motor. Try replacing them and it should work just fine with zero vibrations. Did you try that before ordering the complete fan n motor set?
instead of changing the wires and soldering the old wires onto the new housing, whyt not just swap the new wires around unsolder, flip and resolder. that should work....
Yeah that would work. Wires need to be swapped, that's all. Can't remember if I could do it on that replacement fan without soldering. Was already soldered.

Well done, but why not clean the plastic case?
Lazyness I guess. I probably did clean it a bit. Usually it's dusty.
Clean it if you can for sure.
now it still has the blades oriented backwards right? Are you not able to take off the fan ?
This problem and noise because of rubber bush damaged and vibration feel on plastic housing i think

I didn't try that.
Best thing is to change the cabin filter regularly and like you say the rubber holders first, if you can find them.
@@IONHowTo gee, thanks
