I agree, second gen was welcomed. We embraced all the new monsters and they fit in perfectly with the originals. Now a days it's the complete opposite, they just make up whatever new ones they want without having a back story to tie them in with the old. They just keep pumping them out like a factory. They almost feel like mindless drones.
Raw odds for shiny Pokemon in the games was actually originally 1/8192. It's since gotten better, but imagine if those odds translated over to the cards haha.
I really hope you bought and invested! I thought these cards were too expensive in 2017 lol. I only bought corocoro shining mews. Own 4 of them. Bought them raw still in the magazines for $50-$75 bucks each. Graded them all. Only 2 got 9s. The other 2 got 8s. Wish I had bought all of the shinings in Japanese and English. Could’ve got the entire set in Japanese and English mint for $1500 or less. By buying raw and grading at $7 a card with PSA. What I’d do to go back. Don’t know what id do now if I had a full set in both languages of PSA 10s and PSA 9s. 😢

Apparently I have dyslexia and switched the "1" with the "8". But that is an insanely low probability!

How much would that first edition ho-oh in English go for in a psa 10? I sold mine ungraded for $75.
PSA 10 English unlimited or PSA 9 1st edition? Which is a better investment?
They are both approximately the same market value. But in the long run, 1st editions are usually the better investment
Pokémon Collectér psa 9 1st edition are more valueable than japanese 10s..
