      Hello Cassy. Your hair is so gorgeous. I really need your advice on my hair. Whenever I relax my hair it takes forever to detangle and the matting is extreme. Although I relax only my new growth I realize that the down parts of my hair has a different texture as compared to the freshly relaxed new growth. Is that the reason my hair keeps breaking. Will appreciate any kind advice and recommendations. Thank you

    I love your stylist. She did such a good job. I can never find a stylist in my city that will wash relaxer off my hair 4times. That’s why I do my self.

      Girllll, finding a good stylist is very hard. Although they are not close to me, I'm willing to take the drive lol. I'm so glad I found her. I have been taking care of my hair myself for about 3 years and a couple of months now. It got very healthy and long. I only go to the hair salon to retouch my relaxer and trim my hair.

    I love the way she doesn't let the relaxer touch your scalp while applying. That's why it's so important to let a professional do your relaxer.

    The hairdressers around my area absolutely refuses to use non professional products especially not drugstore box relaxers. That's a big No-No for them! However, you take very good care of your hair, that's mostly what matters. It looks great 👍

      Oh wow really? I did not think they could say no to that. I'm happy they let me bring my own where I go then lol. However, as you saw in the video there was some clashing somewhere along the line. So, I will just let them use their own on my next appointment and see the difference. Thank you Lori 😊.

    Is there a particular reason why you bring your own relaxer and products to the salon, I've never seen that done before. I get my relaxers done at ulta with my same stylist and she uses the mizani system and to me that's the luxury of going to the salon, it's like a spa day for your hair. Thanks for the update, it looks nice. 💜

    • @CassysHairCare
      @CassysHairCare  Рік тому +3

      Hi Kalisha 🙂, my very 1st relaxer years ago was done at home by my older sister. She used a kiddy perm on my hair. When I started going to the salon they did not have the kiddy relaxer, so I had to bring my own. So now it's just a habit. Not only that, when it comes to relaxer I don't like using different products I stick to what I know. I wouldn't them to use a relaxer that my hair does not like.

    • @CassysHairCare
      @CassysHairCare  Рік тому +2

      And Yes going to the salon is like a hair spa day 🥰. It feels amazing to have someone care for your hair as long as they know what they are doing 😉. Besides bringing the relaxer box, I think I'll let them use their own products next time 🙃🙂.

    • @kalishajnz
      @kalishajnz Рік тому

      @@CassysHairCare Thanks for replying. It was very interesting cause I'd never seen that before and I assume most salons wouldn't even allow it. It's definitely different but also nice that they let you dictate exactly what you want. When I did self relax I used mizani and the only difference with the salon is that they use the lye version and I used no lye. I was kinda scared of using lye because I thought it would burn being that I scratch my scalp but I literally had no issues. Yeah I think you should give their hair products a try next time, you just might discover something that you like. 💜
