    I have that flat iron😁I don’t blow dry just air dry. I just relaxed my hair again after trying natural hair for 2 years and I am loving my relaxed hair. Thanks for all the tips. I had bra strap relaxed hair before so that’s my goal

      Try professional products. Try professional conditioner. Try a detangler + moisturiser. Instead of leave in. Leave in makes your hair soft and dry.

      I just recently started using the morrocco hydrating shampoo and deep conditioner hair mask and when I’m done letting the hair mask sit for 10-15 mins i use the Morocco regular conditioner for like 3-5 mins and my hair feels so moisturized. I think it is from using the regular conditioner to seat the hair mask

    • @CassysHairCare

      Yes, trimming is very important. I do trim my hair every relaxer, which is every 12 to 16 weeks. In between relaxers, I dust my ends myself.

    Your hair is always healthy and beautiful, I stopped using flat iron on my hair since last year because you always say, stay away from excess heat, it will try your hair and cause breakage so am six months post relaxer and i will be relaxing my hair in two months time and am planning to roll set my hair and enters hooded tryer after that I will flat iron my hair and trim the bad ends, please is it right? If there is any corrections please tell me i will stop to avoid breaking my hair thanks waiting for your reply.

    • @CassysHairCare
      @CassysHairCare  Рік тому

      Hi 👋 Judith thank you 😊. So it's great that you are staying away from excess heat. Flat iron your hair after roller Setting it could be a little too much heat still in my opinion. When I go to the salon after roller Setting, I ask them to only blow dry the roots to stretch it before trimming my ends. As far as stretching, I've never tried to stretch for this long yet. As long as your hair isn't breaking, then that's great. Hope this helped 🥰.

    • @CassysHairCare
      @CassysHairCare  6 місяців тому

      At the start of my journey, I barely used heat on my hair. However, I blow dry my hair a bit more often now that my hair is healthier. I blow dry it on low or medium heat, never high. I roller set my hair when I go for my relaxer every 3 to 4 months.

      😔I'm sorry to hear that you're going through a tough time with your relaxed hair. It's understandable that dealing with hair care can be challenging, especially when facing financial constraints and stress. Consider simple and affordable alternatives, like DIY treatments using natural ingredients, and focus on self-care to alleviate stress. Remember, your well-being is important, and there are budget-friendly options to help you care for your hair.

    Curious as to what relaxer you use. Also, there’s a huge lawsuit that came out against relaxers because they are responsible for cancer and other health issues. What is your stance on that? I currently use Botanicals soft and beautiful every 2 months.

    • @CassysHairCare
      @CassysHairCare  Рік тому +12

      Hi H 👋, Yes, there's been a concern with relaxers and health issues. Many of the research are inconclusive 1st of all. They are pointing to specific ingredients in those products that can be carcinogens. Nowadays, unfortunately, many things are causing cancer. One just just have to research products and ingredients as much as they can before deciding to use them. I researched the relaxer I'm using right now. The ingredients seem to be okay until proven otherwise. I use the African Pride Olive Miracle Relaxer. Then, I only relaxed my 4 times a year. Hope this helps.

    • @CassysHairCare
      @CassysHairCare  5 місяців тому +1

      No, because your deep conditioner gets rinsed out, whereas the leave-in stays in to provide moisture after you're done washing your hair.

    Cassie, I did a full-on protein treatment for the first time today. For years, I would just do like cholestrol or a protein deep conditioner.
    I had a breakthrough with my hair about 2 years ago. I started washing and deep conditioning weekly. My hair went from shoulder to right above bra strap. I want more, but for a year now, it won't grow past bra strap. So, I decided to do actual Aphogee protein, and it wasn't bad. I survived.
    I ❤️ your videos. Praying for longer hair like I had in high-school. I've always had good hair. I would just cut it when I notice thinning and breakage. Thanks for sharing. ❤️

    • @CassysHairCare
      @CassysHairCare  Рік тому +1

    Sorry but... if you are going to let products go "cuz othey said it cause cancer" then you need to stop relaxing your hair. Go and watch the curly chemistry, she indeed broke down everything, and why people sould stop jumping in conclusion. Some of this studies are just paid by companies to proomote their own products.

    • @CassysHairCare
      @CassysHairCare  Рік тому +1

      I think there might be a misunderstanding here. In all things in life, one gotta be cautious, especially If I find out for sure there is a super harmful ingredient in a product, then of course I wouldn't want to use or recommend it. I think it's fair to say I'll pay close attention to the ones I'm using, and if there is one or more harmful ingredient, I'll stop using it.

    • @itzayanathyme
      @itzayanathyme Рік тому +3

      @@CassysHairCare the so called "harmful" ingredients can be found in food you eat every day even an apple, in the air, clothes, ect ... like I said if you are going to remove them, then you may need to stop relaxed your hair , stop eating some food (yes even fruit) and stop breathing basically. Check the Curly chemist and you will see.
      There NO point on stopping using a product for your hair when you still eat the same ingredients.

    • @CassysHairCare
      @CassysHairCare  Рік тому +1

      @itzayanathyme you are right, and I believe the same thing. However, I've decided to be more aware of what I ingest and what I use all together, and again, some things based on my research will have to go.
