Reon, no...go get that big (fancy) green grabber machine! That thing is absolutely fantastic! Show us armchair viewers what latest--and safest--technology looks like! Reach up, grab, cut (remote control !) & slowly lower heavy, awkward, unbalanced tree top/branches down to the ground for crew cut-up. Show us some great cutting jobs! Thx!👍👍👍😊🍺
It is good to see you again. I found your channel when Jacob from Guilty of Treeson visited you. It is a great fraternity. You are an example of what is good in our country.
That one chunk you took right above the rot spot had pucker your but up lol I no mine would of ben by the sound of your voice il say ya. I know i'd rather hit the stacked wood an make a mess than put to much stress on that spar even tho cherry pretty strong. Good cutting 👏 👌 👍 stay safe out there
That altered wood has the same strength as no wood. It's like cardboard. Sometimes you wonder how close you come to the edge when you remove a tree like that and stress it. Makes supper that night taste a little better.
Oh the man is back fuck I was just watching your last video from like 4 years ago wicked to have you back keep ‘em coming oh yeah congratulations on the new crane/ knuckle fucking deadly
That’s some BIG rigging right there. What is the name of the thing you were using to keep your bar from being pinched when you were making those salami cuts? And where can I get one?
Yep that cherry makes the one I took out today look like a baby lol. Nice work Reon. Where I work at now we have a knuckle boom truck like yours. How much reach do you have with yours?
Straight Cherry like that....save a 20' section of the stick, and mill it. As long as it's not too punky, it will make great beam lumber/artisinal lumber...bar-top, mantle....that sort of thing.
I suppose he couldn’t fall the stick seeing as he rigged everything down , not to mention it was hollow and way in the backyard . or u just speaking hypothetically ?

Was out in Millstone about 12 years ago, pricing out an 80-acre clearing job...we didn't end up getting it....but there were two twin Wild Black Cherry trees, way out in the woods...each one was about 120' tall, and they were unusually straight....especially the first 35'..... I was so desperate to harvest those two trees, it was ridiculous.....it still bothers me till this day....twin Cherry trunks, each very straight, for a good 25'-30'.....🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ major lost opportunity.....
@@samuelluria4744 thanks, yeah same on the plowing gig, I’d rather not even deal with that these days. Straight grain cherry sire is a pretty rare thing, sucks u couldn’t get those logs lol
Nice acenderGotta love the courage and skill.... I reached a level close to this but sadly in Feb 2021 i had a leaning oak barberchair while i was 50 ft up....it took my climbing loop pinned me to the tree melted my knot and the rope broke when the top hit the ground...then i got bucked off from 50ft.....broken heels, spine , ribs , 2 teeth.....it wasnt fun
I'm a huge fan of yours....but the piece in the thumbnail was nowhere near 2,000 pounds. We do 100' Wild Black Cherry in Jersey on the regular, and a piece that size is more like 1,100 pounds, I'm sorry.

You can't get any closer to the wood pile! Nice work
A friction device up top would have made rigging those first few top sections safer/smoother.

Felipe was right. He made the hard work look easy. Well done Felipe : )
Couldn't hold it, eh? Maybe I should make the next ones bigger... 🤔
