It never fails when you drop a difficult tree using perfect geometry and mechanical imagination……the homeowner barely notices what a genius job you just did for him.
Great job Reon that was awesome! Thinking outside the norm freaking love it and fresh coffee delivery mid job that is fantastic! Stay safe and thanks for sharing!
Well that was different. Not seen a tree job like that before. Very good forward planning and implementation. Thank you for another great presentation.
I did the same thing this winter with a big maple. Worked well. That little loader is very impressive. Has quite a bit of lift and seems pretty stable at with the heavy lift
i been missing you brother u are an awesome climber. I am 2 been climbing for 17yrs. i wish u would give us more i missed u for awhile. Reon i would love to climb with u maybe at some point that would be sweet. But be safe an give us more.
I'm in Michigan and we did the same thing in the summer and winter. Removal on ice and one I used my boat to drag the tree to the ramp. Work smart not hard! Good stuff
This was impressive in more ways than I can say. I have a green dolly like that and wouldn’t dream that it could handle that load. Also, I would’ve been tempted to haul the wood away from shore and let the lake swallow it up in the spring. That’s probably not allowed up there but it would just be structure for fish. Thank you for your great work and videos. 👍🏻
Nice slow release hinge! I did a hinge on a large diseased ash and it started to fall. We went to lunch and watched it out the window as it took an hour to fall. Perfect location, but not doing that again, LOL! No one in danger as we live on an acreage in woods, but I just need more practice.
There was talk about doing this with a big pine across the lake from me. Because of the terrain and location of everything the options were a massive crane to get the height and reach needed, or drop it on the ice. I don't know if the jobs been done or not. Got another job I'm supposed to haul the logs from but theyre running out of time for the second winter now, frost won't be here a whole lot longer
The Logsaw horse was a great idea I might utilize that trick one day But I hope to never have to cut a tree on the ice 🥶 Thanks for the video keep them coming
A guy like me from hawaii can only dream of working with a crew that’s has all the skill and equipment to make a job fun and efficient great job love all your toys 🤙🏽Aloha
They are called a bagster. Waste management has trucks that will come pick them up at your house after you fill them with trash. You can buy them at Home Depot or Amazon. I just bought one after seeing him use it a few videos ago.

Fabulous, just Fabulous!! WOW!! Exciting!! Nerve wrecking!! Thank you! 🌹
I hope the home owner was suitably impressed. Great job showing just how much kit you sometimes need, and not a crane in sight! Awesome.

Nice slow release hinge! I did a hinge on a large diseased ash and it started to fall. We went to lunch and watched it out the window as it took an hour to fall. Perfect location, but not doing that again, LOL! No one in danger as we live on an acreage in woods, but I just need more practice.

Once had 24 inch thick ice to go thru to install a tree as a rigging point as it was a winter job only... thanks for vidéo
That was executed perfectly. Well done
Wicked drop broski nice bracing
Those logs would make some wicked table tops.
What... No Ice Wheelies? How thick is that ice? Send philippe back to cut a hole with his saw. Awesome video, nice protection of that wall.

Very well planned.. How thick did you feel the ice needed to be ? Great video,,, Thanks
Your grandson was ice fishing today about an hour north of Madison and the ice was about a foot thick.
Nice
Nice work. Good creativity on protecting the wall. I think, if you could of been able to, that an ice bonfire would have been cool.
Thanks! 🤔next time !🤠
Where do you buy those tarps with handles at? I need to get some of those. Great video.
I'm interested also..
They are called a bagster. Waste management has trucks that will come pick them up at your house after you fill them with trash. You can buy them at Home Depot or Amazon. I just bought one after seeing him use it a few videos ago.
Home owner wanted a table slab out of that tree or was he inquiring about one from your mill?
Sick
