- In this vlog I am in Tokoriki Island in the Mamanuca Island Group. Im just here for a quick visit before I go back to the mainland.
Mata who works as a security on the island guides me around and shows what Sheraton Tokoriki Island resort has to offer. I didn't have a chance to take a look at the inside of one of their bures but was lucky enough to see what the resort has to offer for its guests.
The weather wasn't good when I went from the mainland but bit better on tokoriki island. After tokoriki I had to get on a fiberglass boat and sail to mana island where I could get on the south sea cruise and go back to the mainland.

It's good that you're taking alot of safety precautions whilst traveling in this weather. Stay Safe all. This is also a great insight into the logistics of running a remote island resort, the stories of the people that work and travel to these resorts, and most importantly some of the challenges workers in our remote islands face. Tokoriki unlike other resorts, is a step ahead of other islands - they have their own Desalination Plant, that obtains fresh water for human consumption or agricultural purposes from the Ocean. Is it slow season now? Not much tourists.
Wet season is November-April so it does look like it
It's also much cheaper to travel into Fiji during these off-peak seasons. You can pay less, for almost exclusive service
