For the pump to last longer the in take side should always be air-tight; because cavitation is a pumps enemy. It doesn't matter if the output side leaks but it will also affect pump "head", pressure and flow rate.
Na sprinkler qo, berabera tale na tubu ni rokete totolo tale na tubu ni co 😂😂😂😂 vinaka Tau😂 seeing that the sprinkler works is so satisfying..super proud of you guys✌️😎
Fantastic job! The satisfaction that comes with this watering system being put in place is a positive sign for the best years ahead. With all the effort maintaing and preparing the land. This gets more exciting. with all the crops planted by Christmas you will reap all the blessings. Loloma yani vei kemudou kece sara na veiwekani. Na veilomani keimna duavata!
Very nice. We did the same thing in our farm to start one new block off, later when the plants were producing, we decided to go back to focused watering of each plant with a watering can for a while because the weeds were also enjoying the sprinkler a bit too much. Mulching then because the answer. Love your videos and updates! Very inspiring.
I like how these three guys working together and building a relationship that Kool to see I see many good things happing in this channle and building the farm life
Good initiative! Should install a foot valve with strainer at end of suction hose; this will prevent water from flowing back into the creek whenever the pump's switched off and also keeps the pump primed at all times. And I think you're misunderstanding how pipe diameter, pressure, and velocity (speed) work. A smaller pipe diameter is NOT better for pushing water over a long distance... the pump will work even harder due to the increased resistance. The pressure is actually higher through a larger pipe diameter; this pressure will decrease when the pipe diameter decreases before or at the sprinkler connection resulting in an INCREASE in velocity to maintain the same flow rate (flow rate is constant).
My joy is abound when the sprinkler worked...lailai nomudou marau Tamai Liki, levu cake na noqu...o office boy me sa yacana o water boy...congratulations ...catching up with your very interesting vlogs.
very good inspiration for young farmers who want to venture on agriculture. Please keep more videos coming on. Really appreciate it Waka Family
Those boys are so funny 😂😂😂😂🤦♂️🤦♂️ time will surely fly working with them.
There's nothing more satisfying for are farmer than following your own intuition, and being true to your dreams.

Honestly John, it's always a pain to get those pumps getting the first time suction. This is what we all go through brother
Result...👏👏👏
You could change out the fittings on the pump to quick connect so you dont have to be playing with that hose clamp
Nice
Sui vakalevu na karasi😂😂😂....Wananavu waka
Awesome work. Is the creek permanent or seasonal? Be good if it is permanent for dry season!
Most creeks in Fiji are permanent
@@pidoxrush7647 No, we have several creeks on our property that are seasonal, meaning they only have running water during the wet season.
