Lolo bun is a dish that we have for breakfast in our village home and it is also a known dish in Fiji. This is our village home version of it and how it is done in the village.

I love that Aunty Wati came in the kitchen to "oversee" because no matter how good we are at making certain dishes, it's always good to get critiqued or advice from our elders. I used to love when my grandmother did it to me, always with patience and love. The buns look delicious!

We Fijians are like that, lol. When it's time for breakfast, lunch or dinner you'll see kids from neighbors or our cousins appeared especially if it's a nice meal. It's not new to us 😅😅

One of my favourite breakfast treat with Rewa butter and Fruto jam😋. Also babakau, panikeke and biscuits will be another option if this not available. Always goes together with coboi tea🍵
