Four mintutes was no where near enough screen time, Kylie matched the character so well, she deserved much more time on the film, plus she never wore the outfit that she did in the games.
I imagine production probably couldn't afford to pay both Jean-Claude and Kylie so they bumped her role down considerably. Just a guess
They did a Mortal Kombat style Street Fighter the Movie.. the Game, where they used her and she wore the authentic Cammy costume.
Tbf cammy doesnt have alot of story even in the games/anime. That's why she's always overshadowed by Chun Li and then other girls, even though she's the hottest girl in SF.

@@mihai000000That "I need a vacation" line at 3:40 or 3 minutes and 40 seconds of the way into the video was copied from the "I need a vacation" line that Arnold Schwarzenegger spontaneously improvised at the end of "Terminator 2 : Judgement Day" when James Cameron was filming Arnold at the steel mill ( Lava Factory ) at Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Sean Connery and Arnold Schwarzenegger often improvise their own lines and make up their own dialogue that is different than what was in the original movie script and then the director would leave in the improvised dialogue.

For me it was quite something seeing Kylie as an Australian doing an English Accent. She really made such a comeback that year with her song Confide In Me and co-starring in Street Fighter.
That last pose pic must be so sentimental for them. It's a treasure they can look back on and say that was fun. 🙂

Someone just told me that Kylie was in the Street Fighter movie and I didn't believe him. It's easy to see why I wouldn't have remembered this, she didn't really do much compared to everyone else.
She actually had one of the bigger parts. I'd say she was the 6th main character after Guile, Chun Li, Bison, Ryu and Ken.

It was a 12 certified film a thong leotard wouldn't be allowed!
Directors often use the term " Mom and pop in Oklahoma". What that means is the majority of ordinary film goers who are paying to see this movie may not want to see her tush hanging out of a green thong leotard. Often it's better to leave something for the imagination!
Besides this was an interpretation based on the game. The writers wanted Cammy to be an efficient soldier; Guile's right hand woman in other words. Hence why Kylie has to be dressed more conservatively for the role. A skirt 2 inches above the knee, blue stock, blouse, court shoes and blue beret.
@@francessweeney2308 well apparently she did model the green leotard outfit in the video game version of the movie but I guess it wouldn’t of made the film a fifteen rating if she wore it, but it was worth playing the video game just seeing her bum wiggling about for a few moments.
The whole cast was perfect.
