This video shows how we run our AI prime 16HD here in the shop
All of the corals have been doing really well and growing under these settings
We have tinkered with this light for years (original prime) and have settled on this schedule that seems to world REALLY well
UV and both blue chanels as high as possible
white 20%
red and green just 5%
not using moonlights
adjust to your level of blue taste
10 hour total photo period with a 1 hour sunrise and sunset

3:40 Amen! You guys confirmed two things that I had an idea about. One was an hour ramp up, an hour ramp down time and the other one was getting rid of the white lights. White lights are only temporary to look at fish and crap in my opinion because I love the blue look.

How important is ramp up and downs specially for corals? Do they enjoy fast ramp ups or gradual ones ?
Makes more sense for gradual anything that does. Afast ramp up will be more likely to shock

Just got my AI HD 16 and the mentioned scedule looks HORRIBLE! The entire light is way too blue. It just looks stupid, I'm sending this light back and gonna build my own one.
your video isnt good at all.. i dont care about naming you fish.. waste of time you don't show how to program the light at all. change title to name my fish instead of programming you AI prime
