man, your peninsula tank has always been a huge inspiration to my personal tank with both the aquascaping, and the coral placements, sad day when you break it down. Excited to see what you do next.
I just switched from three Hydra 32s to two AI Blades (one grow one glow) on my 120 and I have been super happy with the performance and spectrum. It’s as close to a T5/LED hybrid fixture that I have seen without the complexity and maintenance. They really strike a perfect balance between blended light with good shimmer and the spectrum is spot on. My corals have adjusted to them very well and I definitely recommend them for your next build.
I'm excited to see more tanks lit with the AI Blades also. I am excited to see how they work by themselves to keep a reef tank flourishing or if they are best left for supplemental lighting. Thanks for another fun video. Great things are coming for that tank!
I love listening because I'm new and learning from everything you have to say. Still currently setting up my tank, that peninsula is pretty sick if I stick with the hobby I'll probably go with one in the future.
Use 2 blades a coral grow and a coral glow. I put a coral grow on my wife's 37 gallon seahorse tank and its wonderful! No dark spots, it covers the whole tank front to back in light like your outside without the sun making a hot spot. hope to see you at Aquashella Dallas!
Your display tanks are always the best imo... too many advanced reefers seem to get so obsessed/fixated on sps that their displays neglect the softies and lps that got a lot of people into the hobby. Plus there's nothing like a flowy mixed reef 😂 That being said, would be interesting to see what you do with an acro/sps dominated tank 🤔
I got my very first hammer coral from you in 2016 and it grew to melon size until it got wiped out when I (accidentally) poisoned my tank. That atomic bomb is a stunner. I hope you can save the rest of it. 🤞🏻 Also, my tank is 60x60 - does that count as a peninsula? 😂 It has its own room and is essentially three, 5-foot viewing panes. I love that you have to walk around it to see it all, and can’t see everything from one spot. 👍🏻
I'm sad to see it go, but I'm actually surprised you had it set up as long as you did. I'm looking forward to you and Tia setting up the new tank (cuz we all know she is gonna be involved in that) 😉
Omg you're so truth. They have ears, when I always said I like is growing nice, look awesome they die. Actually last time I was contemplating my tank on my birthday and the next day everything dead and white out and the water white like milk. Lost 10K in corals and the love of 5 years of work.
Hey off the main topic … what are the two display tanks in the store ? Not the frag ones the AIO ones (2 I believe) my 72 bow is going to give out shortly, the have snapped when the stand stared to delaminate. I’ve seen those tanks so many times, they are very nice and tempting looking for size etc Thank you so much for your time 😊
What did you end up dosing peninsula tank with? Your intro video was only two doses? Of course with the major three elements down stairs as you stated. Thank you
I just bought a beautiful rainbow dynamite chalice from you guys and it is definitely deserving of the name. Losing a favourite coral is devestating :(. Please update on the frag because I got a couple torches that have around the same skeleton on the new heads and think it's not ready yet to frag.
I'm with you on Peninsulas. Honestly it's my favorite tank layout and as someone who doesn't want the hassle of a large system witha sump, they're even more attractive as an AIO. I own 2.
Fingers crossed for that hammer March! 😍 ur right tho, every coral store seems to put ultra rainbow in front of every coral with more than 2 colours on it, and then double the price too, I like having multiple corals each with their own colour but next to each other, like instead of buying a rainbow hammer, buy 3 hammers and place them next to each other 😉👌🥰 Will the new tanks (I assume will be reef Casa tanks) be all in one tanks but bigger size like the redsea reefer, or are u designing reef casa tanks with overflow and a sump? If u do an overflow and a sump u could put the overflow in the corner so it can be turned as a peninsula or flat against the wall 😉👌👊🥰🍻 give digz a pat for me, I give him permission to hump the customers if they don’t bring him treats 🥰❤️😂
I absolutely love the look of a peninsula tank, but there just isn't a practical space in my house to have one. I think if I ever designed and built my own house I would put in a space for one, but otherwise I think most people just don't have the right house layout for me
My magnesium is >1500 and I already lost 2 torches. My acros are doing great but my gonis and lps are not doing well. Phosphate is .04 and Nitrate is 13.5. Any ideas on the problem? Oh Ca-420 and Alk-7.8.
Hi March, do you ship to the US? Is be interested in buying a head off that atomic bomb, you aren't kidding that thing is bad ass! Also shame about the peninsula, they are my favorite and my next setup
I'm a little surprised that you don't do any business on the peninsula tank, If I were to buy another tank it would be one of those if not a ~3' square.
Ten years ago that branching hammer was commonly available and inexpensive. Only thing that’s changed is the fads. I wouldn’t pay you fifty bucks for that coral
March let me know when you take it down if there is any of the live rock up for sale would love to get about 10 lbs or so for my new build love the sponges - would really like some of that as well! You have my email :)
I love your narrating, and your store looks amazing. The fact that you keep it so clean and organized its refreshing to see.

My new favorite reef/coral aquarists show. I’m getting a Corey from aquarium-coop vibe from the owner.
The sidetracks are why I watch every episode 🤣
Definitely. Been listening to videos all day and I didn’t even notice till he pointed it out. I was totally following along.
That hammer is CRAZY! Hope to see it flourish!

I'm on your side sir. I'm picking up and building a stand for a 70 gal peninsula this weekend.
I'm excited to see more tanks lit with the AI Blades also. I am excited to see how they work by themselves to keep a reef tank flourishing or if they are best left for supplemental lighting. Thanks for another fun video. Great things are coming for that tank!

I really want a peninsula tank its my dream tank and I love the dimension of the display tank you have. Wish you guys were closer!
Sad to see the tank go, but it's definitely understandable. Plus, change can be good.
That hammer is so stunning hope it pulls through ! Also sad to see that tank going down it was amazing to see it grow in the short time
Id love to see you guys get a hold of some coral essentials products and give them a go and see what you think.

Looking forward to see how you scape your new 2 island display :)
MUAHAH BEST COMMENT :D

Thank you so much for your time 😊
Corals do have ears! Thats why I always announce my favorite as some super hardy coral. Duncans my favorite right now and theyre so hard to kill haha
I remember pointing that little torch months ago to Tia so cool
I swear that if I was close enough I would have loved to buy that tank or one just like it. I think they are amazing tanks and have so much potential.
What did you end up dosing peninsula tank with? Your intro video was only two doses? Of course with the major three elements down stairs as you stated. Thank you
The problem with peninsula tanks is that they require very specific layout and most people's homes don't accommodate for that.
If your saying it’s from low magnesium would you not see negative impact on all Euphyllia and not just a singular head?
I just bought a beautiful rainbow dynamite chalice from you guys and it is definitely deserving of the name. Losing a favourite coral is devestating :(. Please update on the frag because I got a couple torches that have around the same skeleton on the new heads and think it's not ready yet to frag.
cool lighting ,how much cost to feed all this
What are the dimensions of the display peninsula? Or even better, what brand & model is it??
if i go to Toronto sometime i would like to visit your store
l love your vids l am watching from New Zealand l wish we had a shop like you have there keep it up
Tbh I’d love to have a peninsula tank, but placement in my house is a problem I can’t afford to solve rn. Someday.
What are those smaller tanks you’re talking about right beside you when you’re standing next to them ?
I'm with you on Peninsulas. Honestly it's my favorite tank layout and as someone who doesn't want the hassle of a large system witha sump, they're even more attractive as an AIO. I own 2.
I'm thinking about my next build. Wanting a highly florescent corals with nothing but black and white fish.
I think a lot of times I see this coloring called a "hologram" hammer coral
I feel ur pain! I recently lost a hammer and torch as well 😭
Good idea on the tank. You're going to save lots of corals
Is there gonna be a reef casa peninsula ?
Fingers crossed for that hammer March! 😍 ur right tho, every coral store seems to put ultra rainbow in front of every coral with more than 2 colours on it, and then double the price too, I like having multiple corals each with their own colour but next to each other, like instead of buying a rainbow hammer, buy 3 hammers and place them next to each other 😉👌🥰

The flesh on those hammers is big and thick.. none of my torches.
Hammers are that substantial
Is that due to high Mg?
Hey can you please please give me what the parameters were on this tank and did you have a calcium reactor or gfo?
Ah man I love the peninsula but I understand the logic in switching it up. I'm combining my 30g and 90g reef tanks into a 340g peninsula right now
Hi March, do you ship to the US? Is be interested in buying a head off that atomic bomb, you aren't kidding that thing is bad ass!

Is it really worth 2k? Cause I have the same one branching
What are your light settings
Can you do AI Blades for the new tank??
I love that tank
How much for the peninsula?
What's the name of this hammer coral
Nope! It's true. Corals have ears. Mine die when I say good things about em
Ten years ago that branching hammer was commonly available and inexpensive. Only thing that’s changed is the fads. I wouldn’t pay you fifty bucks for that coral
Good idea
Do you use a lense on your camera?
You should raffle the tank?
you should put a waterbox tank there
Amazing 😍
Hit em with a 32g bio cube in the Pennensula area
Damn that hammer is awesome 👌🏼
Try ciprofloxacin at 0.25mg/l for 5 days , worked for the to solve brown jelly
Big mistake shutting down that tank because it sells corals people get inspiration from large colonies and they help sell your frags .
Looks like an interesting video but I get motion sick with all the camera swings. Admittedly, I am particularly sensitive but just so you know!
KFC dip for Torches and Hammers will turn them around I've seen it do miracles..
Why would you even consider getting rid of the nicest tank in store. It is the centerpiece.
prcies really has come down on these things - got a double head for 150 USD :P
It's always magnesium
1. Fauna Marin
2. RedSea
Don’t remove the nice display. Every store needs an overpriced not selling display tank to show it’s high end capabilities :)
LOOK up the KFC dip. It literally saved my hammers and torches in 3 days
I accidentally said "I love you" to one of my new high end millepora frags... it RTN'ed in front of me... 👻
Doesn't look rainbow to me. Must be the lighting:))
Selamat pagi too 😁✌️
I m from indonesia, nice to meet you
First!🎉 Keep the videos coming!!
Sure this video came up from a sidetrack!
My hammer dropped a head n made 6 more.
I’m listening 😅😂😂
LOL at selamat pagi!
Next time say selamat jalan, means good bye!
the side tracks are not really sidetracks to someone with ADHD lol
What about the coral? Like how to not kill it? Not a single piece of useful information. )-:
March let me know when you take it down if there is any of the live rock up for sale would love to get about 10 lbs or so for my new build love the sponges - would really like some of that as well! You have my email :)
Incredible hammer coral 🪸 what a Incredible peice
