I like that you give honey figs space, as they seem to be eclipsed by the berry-types. Seems like Izbat is your top choice for flavor. Which take silver and bronze? I'm in AZ 9b, long season, plenty of heat. Thanks!

LSU Hollier and Champagne? Any other standouts that you think would improve with more heat?

I’ll do an end of season review, but there were a couple of new figs that I like a lot this year, specifically Eaubonne and Moscatel Verde

@@FigLifedotcom Thank you. These reviews help me focus my new-to-figs mania. Gotta have them all! But I should probably settle on just two or three honey-type figs.

I think it was a small Faja de Ovelha, but it’s been a while.

How does the LSU Gold compare to the Champagne?

LSU gold is bigger. I had it a few years ago but got rid of it. If I remember correctly it had a more open eye

@@thevagrowinggardener1898 Its been a while, but I remember having more issues with spoilage in Gold, so no. I imagine that Gold would do better in a dry climate than here in VA

@@FigLifedotcom Oh man. Well, if they don’t fair well I’ll take them out. I appreciate your help. I need to figure out better varieties for VA.
