wow! thank you so much for the time and edit work to put this together! I'm considering a Martin, one of the three you have of course, or an Ibanez of basically same style. You have easily the BEST comparison video on all of the tube. Thank you so much. I strum some, fingerstyle some, not great at anything but just love to play. I love the warmth of the D15 but lean toward the scale reach of the 15sm. Do you believe there is a slight difference or huge difference in sound ? Thanks if you can help, no pressure but you're helping make the final cut. Gotta get one, Wonderful video, Thanks again
Hi there, Thank you for your comment and hey im sure there are other comparison videos out there 😁😁. They all sound almost similar to each other with the D15M giving you the most power due to its size. The 15SM is great if you want a fingerstyle guitar it's also a good strummer. You might need to adjust some because of the nut width. I would say the 000 will have the best balance among the three, its great for fingerstyle and a little bit of strumming here and there. Overtime I had used this more than the other two as its just right for my hands. I think you're gonna have fun with the 00015M, I suggest to find one in your local and try it out.
what are your thoughts on the string widths? the 15SM has slightly more space than the 15M. For finger style do you think it's worth to go that way or does the 000-15M do okay? I ask because I have a GPC-16E with spacing very similar to the 000-15M and occasionally I get a bit too close to other strings - some buzz.
Hi Sir, I would prefer a wider width for fingerstyle, something like that of the SM or similar so as not to have some buzz while playing. The 15M is will do just fine but it will take some getting used to due to a narrower nut width. In my experience it serves well and its so comfortable to use. I would suggest to experience them first in your local dealer before buying.
@@ed_music1834 yeah, if only they can keep an SM in stock. I think the closest one is 90 miles. I am going to go play a 000-15M tonight though. Exciting.
@@mikeward2922 90 miles isn't too far for a life guitar. I had to get mine online being a lefty. Sweetwater was good. The one I picked they found flaws and either offered me a discount or another SM that was in stock. I took the pristine one. My only regret is I liked the woodgrain better on my 1st choice, but the one I got is nice too.
Which of these guitars did you like? Let me know in the comments below.
Peace

Good comparison.
@@Chricão-05 Thank you for watching!
000-15SM which I bought. It just sounds so warm and I love the size of her. The D has a bigger sound for sure, but the 000 is a nice couch guitar.
@ Thank you sir, indeed the SM sounds warm and the size is rare. Have fun!

@@ed_music1834 Less than 2 hours. I live in Maine. Everything is a long ride.
000-15m seems to me to be the most balanced, it has a drier and clearer sound.
Hi Chris, thank you for watching. Yes I really like the tone of this one.
