The things I like about the Arrows RC T-28 Trojan based upon the unboxing and assembly are:
1 great size and portability.
2 very well packed and protected.
3 ease of assembly
4 instruction are clear and easy to follow
5 parts seem to be of quality and well thought out.
Things I am not a fan of:
1 the yellow foam parts and yellow plastic parts don't exactly match
2 the esc is just flopping around with no real good place to put it.
3 the wheels are super hard
Wish list for the Arrows RC T-28 Trojan
3 or 4s capable out of the box.
some nav lights.
low bounce wheels

Man I can't wait to fly her!!
Wow sir. Superb tutorial video.
I think I have learned more from you in a few videos than in a month of others. Can't thank you enough

Glad to hear that! That is one of the main reasons for my channel, to educate and entertain in regards to the best hobby on planet Earth!!
Great instructual video. Sometimes I need a refreshing course, I don't build planes like you. I think the voice setup is the hardest.
Glad you enjoyed it! And watch this for audio help! ua-cam.com/video/1JPpdwd65nU/v-deo.html
Watched this along with the unboxing and assembly video and looking forward to your flight review as I have this airplane as well but haven't gotten it out of the box yet. Still flying my FMS 1220 Ranger for now but will soon be ready for it. Arrows puts out some really nice product at a nice value imho. Wish you would have covered adding a gyro for those of us that want one, especially an off brand to pair with the NX-10. I like the Lemon rx's as well and plan to use them when needed.
I have swithced the Arrows Mustang and this T28 to the Lemon RC Gen 2 with stabilizer since these videos. however these rx are much more complicated to setup and require several steps to get it right. I will need much more practice with setting them up before i feel confident enough to teach others.
Also the maiden on the T28 will have to wait. I broke the nose gear (my fault not the plane) and have to wait for the gear to arrive in about 2 weeks before I can present her for a maiden.
This is great! Thank you. Two questions: 1) My Throttle connector is in two parts - brown orange white wires together in a triple plug, and a separate yellow wire single connector. What do I do with that white throttle connector? 2) The Spektrum AR631+ receiver I installed has a single 9 inch long antenna. Should I just lie it down in the rear of the fuselage, pointing towards the tail?
The orange and brown will be positive and negative for power the white will be signal so upper most position . and the yellow will be thrust reverse if the esc has that option unlocked. That is good with the antenna as long as it is not covered by battery or carbon fiber. Do a range test to test.
Thank you for the video, quite thorough ! But .... what did you finally decide on the CG ? Just 'saying' the CG is farther aft doesn't mean it's going to fly well. What did you finally decide ? By the way, your video on setting up safe through forward programming has been very helpful too !
About an inch in from leading edge. I found if you use a 3300 3s all the way forward she flies great.
where can we get those lemon gen2 rx i have the same plane i love it it so smooth in the air

I'm concerned about the CG issue. Are you saying it will not fly correctly with the manufacturer-recommended 11.1v 2200mAh battery?
It will but push it all the way forward.
@@FatGuyFliesRC I have it up against the firewall as you did in your video. It's still very tail heavy if the CG point specified in the manual is correct.
What is your flap/elevator mix for this plane?
No mix needed for me. -100% flaps up, 0% takeoff and 100% landing...spektrum
What kind of epoxy do you use on foam ?
Gorilla glue brand.
Anytime im setting up a new plane i leave the prop off
Yeah I know I am not setting a good example here , and I even have a scar on my belly from a prop strike, you would think I would learn!!
