I’ve owned mine for 3 months now and love this car . It ticks all my boxes. Expensive compared to other similar full hybrids but worth spending the extra I think. Exterior is not breathtaking by any means but the interior is very comfortable and looks great in my Advance trim. I would highly recommend this car.

Thanks for such a detailed review. It is difficult to get a review with all the information we could possibly need in deciding to buy or not. Best review so far on the ZR -V.

    Good reviewer, this bloke.
Easy and natural - also the videos here are pretty in-depth.

Had my advance a few weeks now and think it's great. Very easy to drive compared to my old deisel Lexus is200d. Pulling off the drive in electric mode (and not disturbing neighbours) then cruising along with no range anxiety is brilliant. The leather feels quality and everything has a solid feel to it. The button gears etc take a bit of getting used to but a pleasure to use once you. It says you mustn't spill anything on the gear change but they've placed the cupholders at the top of it, bizarre. Plenty of elbow room ensures I never irritate my elbow bursitis and storage is tight but managed. The visibility is brilliant, and Honda sensing makes a great safety companion but not as good as the Mrs!

Had mine now for 6 weeks. I love this car but the only problem is the drivers seat. The seat bolsters are to hard and to high. After driving for a short while the side of my leg is killing me, surely I'm not the only one to have this problem. I've had the seats in all positions and just can't get comfortable. Has anyone else had this problem.

I've stood next to one. The fact that it's considered "midsized" is objectively hilarious. Car bloat is real, and it needs to be stopped.

/// Update: we went to another Honda dealer and they let us test drive 3 other ZR-Vs... a petrol and 2 hev. All 3 were quieter than the first one we drove, so potentially that first one had something not right with it? ////
I took the ZR-V HEV LX for a test drive yesterday with the wife. The ZR-V is a beautiful build and finish and I was really keen to purchase it. Very quiet at low speeds. However the noise coming in from the sides for both of us on the open road from 80-110 km/hr was really obtrusive and significant. The noise sounded like it was coming straight in through the door window glass on both driver and front passenger at ear level. I spend a lot of time on open roads and it is currently a deal-breaker which is really frustrating as we love the car otherwise. So I am reading and researching trying to find out if this is due to insufficient sound deadening in the doors? 🤷🏻‍♂️. Or side mirror noise? I am going to take a LX petrol version for a drive to see if it was just an issue with that specific car we drove. If any ZRV owners have any comments that would be appreciated!

Sick of these mid size SUV's. I need an alternative to a merc m class, gle with a 3 litre diesel. The mazda CX60 is the only car that comes close but the interior size is a problem for me. I just wish theyd make the CX90 available in the uk. I just can't bring myself to pay new car prices for a 3 year old car.

First impressions: why have Honda made a Ford?

  • @averyj8160

Built on Civic platform which used to be built in UK. Honda wanted to bring it back home so shut Swindon plant. Now this appears built in China. Ruddy insult.

The HRV looks like the E: ny 1. In fact, you get a good looking car with very poor towing ability. Give me the E:ny 1 any day of the week!!

A petrolectric car is not as green a system as fully electric with charging cables and it should be noted that charging my small Renault Zoe only costs £10-£15!!

Home charging an EV can certainly work out cheaper than a petrol or diesel variant. It's one of the many benefits of going electric if it works for your lifestyle.

Unfortunately, it's not an option for some. We had shortlisted the Skoda Enyaq but had to drop it after the council denied our request to install a charger at home because we don't have a driveway (people could trip over the cables). So we've ordered one of these.

The sad thing is that Honda hasn’t gone fully electric!! The current range provides two fully electric options, but it’s more important to make more fully electric vehicles.

Just because you love EVs doesn't mean that the majority of customers think the same.

That's the beauty of it. It's like driving and electric car without any range anxiety and a full tanking giving a range of around 700 miles in eco mode.

I wonder how much effort Honda had to put in to make a car look so totally and utterly bland, no matter what angle you view it from.
