The reason why we lost the league is because, Klopp could not coach the team to stop conceding the first goal in almost every match. Also, can someone explain to me how we have gone from Bobby and Mane to Nunez, Diaz, and Gakpo.... makes no sense whatsoever 😕
From very early days I thought all those purchases were weird. Totally overloading the left hand side...... Just a bit odd but the sh*t thing is, if you cant coach those players to be what we need they arent going to be easy to shift. I think Diaz maybe but Im not convinced I'd get rid. HOWEVER he should be our off the bench standard rather than our nailed on starter standard.
Completely agree, Klopp can't seem to learn. 23 games where we have conceded first in the league. Nunez and Salah staying on for the entirety was a sackable offence on its own. Honestly, I'm starting to loathe Nunez, seems to think that a grin will hoodwink everyone when he was 2 out of 10 at best today and should have come off at half time. Don't even get me started on Salah.

Shades of 2 years ago we looked a tired team finishing that season with the difference no Mane to get over the line in games .

@@mikedon5205 the manager just reverted to type. Love what he's done for us but you can see why we've lost 3 out of 4 European finals with us, if his game plan fails, he cannot adapt. Every time now, just play defensive football against Liverpool and you'll likely get something from the game.
We've been just hanging on for a while now, the last 4 weeks has been shambolic form, we concede the first goal way too often & often struggle to score, never really felt like a title challenge as the intensity has gone, defending used to be so strong, not anymore! hopefully we'll get some new ideas next season and have another crack at it.
There’s going to be a drop off next season if Slot apparently plays the same way as Klopp we’re going to be very predictable again. I was looking forward to a new approach with a manager who plays 3 at the back, box 4 midfield and 3 up top.
As soon as I saw Jones in the lineup I was not feeling good about tonight, since he came back we have been awful yet he has continued to get a start in most games, Dom has also gone to pot recently, can’t understand Klopp couldn’t see this.
If you concede the first goal on almost every game then you know you cant keep getting away.
We really are the third best team, so we finish where we deserve

Villa and even Tottenham are better than us! I think we’ll just about finish 3rd. If there was, say 10 games left, I think we would fall outside top 4.

& even then Deja Vu Diaz provides nothing of substance bar running around a lot...but as you say, at least he showed some passion, drive, energy, determination, so a solid 6.5 for him, by far our MOTM.
This was a disgrace to the batch they wear on their shirt. You can always lose and I'll support and defend the lads, but no heart, no fight and no passion is unacceptable
Didn't expect it to collapse like this ngl I think that's what hurts more than the outcome right now. I didn't predict us to be anywhere near a title race with 5 games to go not a chance in the summer Top 4 and A trophy was what I expected max from the side the table doesn't lie end of the day. We aren't as good as city or arsenal relied so much on late goals this season it's beyond crazy. Shoutout to the young lads hands down the shining lights on this campaign.
You have ridden so much luck it blinded you, on the eye you guys look so much worse than arsenal or city, you can’t even break down a low block. Imagine being a title challenging team and not having a plan to break down lowblocks

After seeing Darwin's touches and miss a huge 1v1 I knew we ain't winning. Just crap all round players just crumbled as soon as 2nd goal went in...
It was a nice dream to have but reality kicks in, I never thought I’d say this but Salah hasn’t turned up in the big games like he used to, so I think we need to splash out bring in a new star for the club. Up the reds next year, just hurts

Well, dropping the players who are out of form is fine, but bringing them back in right away is lunacy
Balance of this team is DISGUSTING. Asking Trent to play in the middle when we have Mac, Dom, Jones all in the middle, Diaz cutting in, midfield is so congested. Get width, Mo is just out there on his own. We had years of success with overlapping fullbacks, I don't even know what we are trying to do anymore except from asking Trent to play the miracle ball every time.
We should be saying “How class is (striker name)” most weeks, not “if Nunez just sorts his finishing out, he’ll be a good striker” after 2 years of being here. We need better.

Klopp told us he was knackered and leaving when the team was winning. Now u can see he is knackered and has nothing to offer/ inspire his team when in a rough spot ( unlike a couple of disappointing seasons when Liverpool rallied to still make Euro places).

Allowing Sadio Mane to leave because they didn’t want to increase his salary a bit has come back to hurt Liverpool. Luis Diaz, Cody Gakpo, Darwin Nunez are no way near the level of Bobby Firminio and Sadio Mane, unfortunately Diogo Jota is injured all the time. They relied on Mohammed Salah all this time but he can’t do it alone hence why he has gone off the boil completely. FSG allowing the documentary also was a bad idea because Klopp said in a previous interview that he would leave the club if that went ahead and he was true to the word.

@BissMqn 13/14 we were top of the league felt like we were hanging on to it then aswell the table always tells the truth after 38 games hence why city will be number 1 again cause they are the best side in the division. These last 8 games are when the champions arrive and they will.

Can someone explain to me how a team that's played out of their skins for the whole season can suddenly "not want it" or "can't be arsed". That's bs. The tactics are wrong, simple. The way we're playing is very very easy to stop. Either Klopp's tactics are right and the players aren't doing them well enough (why now?), or the tactics are ineffective because they're just wrong. Sure you can have players that have bad games but the whole team except Diaz? Nah. Something is seriously wrong tactically with us atm.
It’s down to Klopp really, the one period we had a bit of momentum was when Trent was down the wing, for like 5 min and then Robertson started to invert, putting Macca in the 6 was a pathetic move as for Jones, he’s been absolute crap since coming back from injury and Klopp played 5/6 last games

@@yaseensultan8826 Something happened after the Utd game, the mentality of everyone just hit a wall, if we had won that and we made loads of chances in that first half the momentum would have carried through to the end of the season, we ain’t even making those kind of chances in a game since then

We were never in a race, our league position flatters us beyond belief. We haven't been able to control a full game in god knows how long, and our front 3 are all medicore at best. Salah as much of a club legend he is, has to be sold in the summer, Diaz also needs selling. Nunez can just fuck right off, he was never clinical enough, but with 2 other forwards who don't score aswell he just makes you want to pull your hair out. Robbo has lost the plot since his injury, szobo again since his injury looks like a completely different player. I'm done with this season, bring on the next one already. A shame this is how Klopps reign had to end, but some of these players have fallen off a cliff.

How was Diaz decent. He's been shit for weeks, he just dribbles in circles over and over. Guys conversion rate is worse than nunez. He misses every big chance, Mane was miles ahead. He doesn't make any runs into the box.

This appears to be our level and anything resembling a dominant performance by us is simply us punching above our weight. I don’t want this 433 formation anymore. It’s becoming tired and easy to play against.

Because of our player changes at the start of the season, I thought only a top four spot was achievable. As that’s what looks like happening. Couldn’t care about the League whatever Cup.
I would like to see Macca up front than see Jones and Dom. These 2's performance have been so poor. Macca could had score some goals and made some assist. Klopp is the cause of Liverpool's downfall. I never like Klopp , he is so fond of placing players not in their natural position, esp. Macca is so good as no.8 and had to play no. 6.
Besides certain players non performing, the buck stops with Klopp he is the manager, his team choices and game set up has been crap since the United FA cup game. His starting 11 and his subs have been questionable. I agree Salah has lost his pace, his mind seems not to be 100 percent on the game, sadly it is time to let him go this summer while they can get some money for him.maybe should have gone at the end of last season for the money offered. As for the overall game, Klopp knew Everton would be playing the long ball game and his set up was wrong, So from a possible 4 trophy's we are lucky to be ending up with 1, the Micky Mouse cup. At least we will be looking forward to the Champions league next season.

Skipped all the stages of grief and went straight to acceptance. The performances from a lot of our players just wasn't good enough, can hardly say we deserved to be champions after the performances we've had since Utd really. A real shame because this team had given us such hope this season. Klopp deserved better, but there's no use crying over spilt milk, now we just have to focus on the rest of our games and give the man a good send off and look to the future.
Need to get some decent players in players they brought in so over rated not up to the job just covered the cracks klopp over rated.
