Just a question, I'm learning English (also a fan of football hence why I enjoy these discussions). I've heard them say "wazza" "gazza" ... But can't figure out the rule or when and how to apply it. I'm aware this is particular to the English but I'm just curious.

(Again, you would only call your work friends, or personal friends, or famous people who everyone likes)

Why when talking about Everton beating Liverpool at anfield do they always bring up no fans but don’t seem to do that when talking about Liverpool winning the league ?
