There's just way too much going on at once. 3 different eras in 1 shirt: 80's, 90's and present day, and it just doesn't work. The Curb Your Enthusiasm music playing at 0:18 fits like a glove. A Larry David-esque disaster of a shirt.

Maybe I'm poorer than I thought I was but even paying £50 is a bit much for me. Then again, I tend to pick up last season's top for £20 odd to wear at 5 a side.

Other than the collar, it looks acceptable. Green third kit from 2 seasons ago was great. NB had supply shortages, but delivered unique kits. Nike is $ for the club w/ cut n paste kits.

Pass for me. Collar is too big and the thick, 2-layer polyester elastic looks uncomfortable. I really liked this year's kit.
This years looks clean ill give them that. Some people want the desighns and graphics though. personally i think it just makes it look busy

The collar still looks like a visual glitch you find in a Bethesda videogame, but i am glad they removed the shield around the badge.

You have a classic, simple, powerful red shirt, and designers mess it up each season and charge you an obscene amount of money for it. One of the many reasons football these days is so naff.

This seasons is perfect imo, though my favourite Nike LFC kit is actually the 21/22 with the orange diagonals. Just thought it was unique.

Thank goodness this is final Nike kit truly awful. Can't wait for Adidas in 2025, but last 10 years the New Balance era made our best kits.

The collar is a howling disaster genuinely ruins the shirt just a standard round collar makes it a decent shirt.
Can live with the collar style. It's a different interpretation of the 80s umbro collars as Maych pointed out.
However, nike dropped the ball again with the 97 and Hillsborough flames being printed on instead of embroidered onto the shirt. Guess it will peel off in time just like the sponsors.
Sleeve cuffs also should have matched the collar, much like the side insert panels.
This kit is HORRIBLE… even the kids don’t want me to buy them this years home kit and they LOVE getting the jerseys every year!

4:03 current home kit looks way better imo, nice and clean
When you compare it to the New Balance kit we had with stripes it doesn't even come close to how well designed that was. On its own terms it could have been quite good but the collar needed to be a proper collar with two buttons, like the away we had that was acru. Sleeves are oddly plain but the centre a bit too busy. Would have helped easy the busy centre by having a uniform white badge, whoosh and sponsor.
I like everything about it except the collar. It it completely destroys the classic style. Nike took a punt on doing something new with the collar and fell miserably short. Also the mismatched pinstriping in the top quarter sends my OCD into overdrive. Does it need the stitch line across the top?
Gawd help us, a kids football team would not wear it, if it was given to them... Who designed this kit, a one eyed Clog and Windmill Maker, all , it looks more orange than Red
I've bought a shirt pretty much every year for about 10 years, that stops for next season if this is the choice, hopefully the away or 3rd is worth buying

Don't hate this kit as much as the majority of people seem to from the comments, agree it looks a little busy up close but from a normal distance it looks classic. Collar is a bit odd and I'm not sure if the player-version is going to be a bit too busy with the extra patterns in the fabric but 3rd/5 for me.
1. 2023/24 (red and white)
2. 2020/21 (red, white and green)
3. 2024/25 (red, white, gold)
4. 2022/23 (red only)
5. 2021/22 (red, white, orange)
Haven't bought a kit since the last NB kit. Really looking forward to getting back to Adidas.
Looks like it was designed on a computer but no one tried it on before production started
the thing that bothers me is the way the pin stripes look on the shoulders, if they were just normal pin stripes that connected seamlessly to the YNWA ones on the front and back it would look so much better, hell if the whole kit was just normal pin stripes I think it would be close to an all timer for me, if I was to put it into my ranking I'd go like this:
1. 23/24 - this season
2. 22/23 - last season
3. 21/22 - almost quadruple season
4. 24/25 - the new one
5. 20/21 - COVID season
It’s a football kit 🤔🤔🤔 what do people expect. I’m more looking forward to the new boss & the next season, and the new kit, well…once our handsome team of lads are wearing it, it will look fantastic, so, if the lads work there magic in it, then it will be loved by all. BTW Alisson’s black kit, is spot-on, I love it ❤️ You look ok in it too 🤣🤣 YNWA❤❤❤

I always thought the logo should be the same colour as the badge and manufacturer logo. I remember when we did the dark shirt with the weird blue/teal badge, the first leaked pics showed SC logo in the same colour, and it looked boss.

The keeper kit is sound. I don't hate them but I'm not crazy about the weird stripes on the home kit. Mate, that collar absolutely does my head in though. It's like they didn't finish designing it before the deadline.

Just cant wait for the Adidas takeover, Nike have given us so disappointing kits, like why they didn't made a normal collar for this shirt? the jackets have also been nothing but mid, the three stripes will not disappoint us
The collar + the massive stitching across the chest is (maybe) the most horrendous thing that's ever been created in all of mankind. They could make a sequel to Oppenheimer and the entire movie could be about the design meetings that took place in the run-up to making this kit.
So sooo unbearably horrendous and needlessly "avant garde". And so easy to fix -- just the slightest adjustment at the very front of the collar and this could have been a hit. Instead, it's the football kit version of the elephant man.
Absolutely diabolical beyond words.
£80 for the shirt? The person who produced it in a South East Asian sweatshop will be lucky to receive 80 pence for their labour. The stripes design on the shirt looks like it has been lifted from Google maps.

Sadly I really don’t like it. Gutted.
I like this kit. Its not perfect but I think its Nike's best home kit so far. The collar being a hybrid between 'popable' and not is weird but doesn't take away from the design if you ignore it. I'm a huge fan of the pin-stripes and I love that the Nike logo and LFC crest are gold.
This is the first time I prefer the stadium version of our jersey over the player version. I think the match worn version suffers from over-design with the added detail in the stitching, sometimes less is more. Overall I like it and I'm very happy with it, but I get not everyone will be.
Looks good on you. Better than all previous seasons. A good mid way between a player shirt and casual wear

Off all the Nike home kits, i like the one with teal coloured collar. I know the collar was weird shape but adding teal made it unique for me.

4. Pop up collar
5. Pink / fluorescent red collar with diagonal stripes
Best Nike jersey is the away kit 21/22 - teal proper collar, fluorescent red badge off white (almost beige) jersey
I doubt I’ll ever move pass that collar. I’ll wear my Rome 84 retro kit anytime, over this. Managed to get current season home and away player kits at 50% discount. And I’m more than contented with that.
