This works well I've been doing this for years on my car windows. You can use shaving foam on glasses too so they don't fog up when you enter a warm place from outside. Also useful for those with glasses wearing a face mask but don't use menthol shaving foam.

😀Thanks for the tip. I learned something similar by putting a little liquid dish-washing soap in the washer fluid reservoir. Worked alright at making rain slide off my windshield. The soap likely fills in crevices in the glass.
Another way to stop the water from condensing on your windows is to open your windows for 10 seconds (while driving)before you stop and turn off your car. This removes the warm water from the car. That removes the water from going to your windows after you park your car.
I have tried your system many times over the years. It helps a bit but is not a complete solution. Your idea doesn't work at all if it's raining or snowing as it lets in more moisture than it lets out. Plus, when the temperature goes much under 0°C the windows won't move!
That wont help when it comes to actually being inside your car where your body heat and breath are the things fogging the windows. Doesnt have anything to do with water inside your car. It's condensation from warm air hitting the cold windows.

I'm thinking this might work well on the side view mirrors too. I've been meaning to try as they tend to get a lot of dew on them in the morning that I sometimes squeegee off if I think about it, but they will tend to re-fog once I start driving.
@mandolinic Heated mirrors are definitely the answer. But they're difficult to retrofit on a modern car that didn't come with them. I'm certainly not buying a new car just to get them, so the foam trick just might be worth a try. They should be standard equipment on every new car just as airbags are. It's about safety.
Use an anti fog solution. This shaving cream will leave a film on your windows that when driving at night will produce a vile glare from on coming traffic lights. Open your door windows a crack and let the warm, moist air out of the car while you drive and make sure your not using the air recycling option.

I hate it when I get in my car in the morning and have to wipe the fogging windows. I just wish it would fog off sometimes and using shaving foam it really does fog off 😁
Dollar tree sells shaving foam and toothpaste. Is that cheap enough 🤔, 😁! I love that store even at $1,25. per item !
Yes !! Thank u🎉❤
I highly recommend you never do this to tinted windows unless you want to get them tinted again. 💯
What do they do to tinted windows?
I'm thinking this might work well on the side view mirrors too. I've been meaning to try as they tend to get a lot of dew on them in the morning that I sometimes squeegee off if I think about it, but they will tend to re-fog once I start driving.
This is why heated exterior mirrors are so good!
@@mandolinic okay, Mr Rockerfeller!
Here in Britain they're pretty much standard even on low-end cars - otherwise I'd never be able to afford them!
Might be a silly question but does shaving gel work too, or only cream?
Works great on bathroom mirrors no more fogged up mirrors.
Tried this and worked really well. Glad I didn't fog up
Jaka jest przyczyna gromadzenia się wilgoci w samochodzie? Mokra tapicerkę, dziurawe dywaniki.
Use an anti fog solution. This shaving cream will leave a film on your windows that when driving at night will produce a vile glare from on coming traffic lights. Open your door windows a crack and let the warm, moist air out of the car while you drive and make sure your not using the air recycling option.
My windows are really fogged up. I say “aww fog ,I hate fogged up windows. I wish this fogged up window would stop fogging up all the fogging time” 😂
thanks for providing a great way to unf*** my windows. I hated it when my windows were so f****d up
