At the grocery checkout I paid for a woman’s meagre groceries. She had two little girls maybe 4 and 6 years old. She got to the checkout and had no money. I told the cashier to ring it through and add it to my bill. The woman cried and hugged me. I told her sometime you will have an opportunity to do something for someone else. The two little girls looked up not really knowing. After she had left the cashier, a young woman, said that was a beautiful thing you did. I told her we all need help sometimes. 🥰❤️❤️❤️🎶🙏🙏🙏
Bert your story about helping that poor homeless woman just made me cry. Nobody and I mean nobody should be out in the streets fighting to stay alive, especially now in the Christmas season. That story got me teary eyed, and it's a reminder for the rest of us to help others.
Indeed...been there,on that side of the " empty plates "!! You are correct Bert..ya gotta do for those just trying to keep goin, no matter what!! Good job!! 👍🐺🎅🦊👍
That woman is common place where I live there are so many homeless. Everyone begs for money. The price for just living is out of reach for people it’s an epidemic and fentynal use is taking over the east coast I live 40 minutes south of Philadelphia. But yes it is always very sad.
A few years ago, my husband and I went out to dinner for our anniversary to a restaurant in our neighborhood. The restaurant was very busy and there was going to be a long wait. The hostess asked us if we minded sharing a table with another couple. It was very nice of them to share their table and we had a pleasant time talking with them. Because they had gotten there before us, they soon finished their meal and prepared to leave. When they got up, they informed us that they had paid for our meal as an anniversary present! What a nice surprise and we were so grateful!
Someone bought my mom's groceries while I was with her. She was just blown away. She was sure it was angels. Yet I am sure it was. She talked about it for a long time. Note she had the money. It was just that someone did something so amazing for her that made her have happy thoughts for quite a while.
We are all one flood, one tornado, one disaster...(you name it) from being homeless. I have been there after a flood in 2019..(one day I am fine, the next, flooded out)..so it was great to watch this video and hear about the woman you helped. I am truly enjoying your vlogmas! Have a blessed week and a very blessed Christmas.
I was awestruck at the statement you made. Just a few words but sooo powerful! It reminded me of what a terrible person I am. I've pushed myself away from people and have so much confliction over what was important in my life. It wasn't until I helped a man from MS who had fallen down in front of me, who was just trying to help himself and my heart was lit up again! What an honor it was to be there to help him and the thanks he had for me..
It is part of a Bible verse. I could never take credit for it. Only trying to remember what I was taught and learned a long the way. At 70, I don't remember as well as I use too!! lol! @@raymetcalf3928
Somer’s …. We went out to a grocery store over the weekend (in a slightly struggling community) and put money down on every register towards purchases. Took cookies of all things to the guy’s that work tending the waist facility (the trash place)… we are rural and have to make a trash run 1x a week. They really appreciated it! It’s hard for me (mostly) I’m autistic and painfully shy. But it’s a good cause. Also Christmas can be a very difficult time of year for us. Yesterday an elderly couple behind me was buying a space heater and I put money… probably enough to about cover the cost of it… and gave it to the cashier and whispered for her to put that towards their purchase. The cashier was very gruff. This always gives me anxiety mostly because of my autism and I don’t know if anybody’s ever had this experience but I don’t expect anything special but I don’t expect borderline rudeness. 😢 I’m not sure what became of it and I will always wonder if that money got to that purchase 🥺 Anyway, we are doing what we can in small quiet ways. 😊
Killed it again, Fam! You all are uplifters and caretakers with such HUGE hearts. You make me so proud and I know you make God super proud ... and he matters! LOL
2 years ago Myself and a fellow nurse was able to help a Nursing Graduate pay for her to sit for her nursing boards. We told her to one day pay it forward. I love to watch all your videos. I hope you and your family have continued success in all that you do. God Bless.
My hubby is a veteran and a few years ago an older gentleman was sitting by himself and he was talking to a few of the waitresses and we saw he had a Vietnam vet hat on, of course we bought his breakfast. We left right away we didn’t need a thank you, we were glad to do it.😊
Again another day of awesome vlogness. Jessica glad your Apparel launch went well. Bert, that last story touched my heart. Kindness goes along way to make people happy and to know there are people who still care. Bert, continued healing prayers to your Dad, Mom and Aunt. Blessings to you and your families. 😊🇺🇲
During Christmas of 2020, there were three elderly ladies sitting together at another table. When I finished my meal and got my bill, I went to the waitress that served the three ladies. I told her that I would like to pay for all their meals. It was my way of making their day better. I am not sure if they knew it was me that did it but I am so glad that I did. It made my day to make them happy. You and Audrey helped me remember that day. Thank you. Please keep doing what you do and do not change. Merry Christmas Bert, Jessica, Audrey, Evelynn, Garrett, Olivia, and Castner.
There's so much sadness in this world, I don't have money to buy people groceries but I give out coats, hats ,scarves and gloves all winter long that I collect through donations from my community..it's filling my heart to put a warm coat on a needy person back..happy holidays and thanks for doing this every December, I enjoy your channel a lot ..❤
I think for those people that have practiced random acts of kindness know what a great feeling you get by giving. I also understand that not everyone can afford to do this. There are people that are barely getting by financially. Those are the people I try to target to receive these random acts of kindness. I frequently visit a local restaurant and I know all the staff. Most of the waitresses know a lot of the patrons and they help me to select who I’m going to pay for the meal. This time of the year is my favorite time to give. God bless your great family.
Hi there. Great launch. I've ordered the red and black hoodie and the belt bag in black. It's going to our friends in New Hampshire first then in to me in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada. There's another pin for your map board. I'm so excited💃💃💃💃💃
So grateful for your generosity... There's nothing better than sharing our love and compassion to one in nead.. Let's all do more of that..💖 I'm baking cookies, breads and muffins for the guys and gals at the fire department and police department. Just a little thank you.. I have had a few times where I was able to help someone out, but I have never had anyone ever help me like that. I but am so thankful that I have been able to occasionally help someone! ❤❤ It makes me so happy!
Unfortunately I'm not in a position to do a lot of random acts of kindness but I always try to say and smile at the people I pass during my day. A little smile can go a long way and just maybe brighten someone's day.
I’ve locked my keys in my jeep. Learned my lesson. I now how an extra key clipped on me. I absolutely love this kind of random acts of kindness. We need to clone you guys because I don’t see things like this in NJ. Love you guys!❤️
God bless your wonderful kind awesome fam. More people need to be more like you guys. Helping random people who actually need it feels so good in your soul. I recently helped a homeless young girl on the street holding a sign saying anything helps have to feed my siblings. I was led to give her some money and I felt so good after that. God bless you guys🙏❤️🤗💕
Bert I cant stand to see someone go through that. Bert yall are such a blessing to do what yall do by blessing other people that arestruggling or homeless. Yall have such mercy in yalls souls and hearts. God bless yall!!❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏
Bert I have purchased meals for people under similar circumstances. This one man in particular I don't think I'll ever forget. He did exactly the same thing. He sat at a table and started eating the leftovers. He looked like he was literally starving and kind of out of it. Anyway I bought him a meal, gave it to him and left. I saw him again about two hours later and other than the clothing he looked like an entirely different person. The colour was back in his face, he was coherent. I was actually shocked at the difference it made in him. I've tried to teach my son to do the same thing for other people if he can afford it. He has a few times and I am so proud of him for doing so. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Love Vlogmas. ❤️ ❤😊
I love how the Lord uses our mistakes to allow someone else to experience a memory of long ago. I am a grandma so this memory is a very old one I have not thought about it in a very long time. I had not had my driving license very long and I was so excited that my parents were letting me drive about 40 miles away to a football game. My girl friends and I had the best time driving over and at the game. Upon returning to the car I realized I had locked my keys in the car!No cell phones back then so some parents at my schools game drove us to a pay phone and waited with us until my dad got there with a spare car key! He never made me feel bad about this mistake but made a secret hiding place for an extra key as he worried if it happened again and I could not get a hold of him. Thank you Audrey for sharing your mistake because it just gave this grandma a warm happy feeling remembering my wonderful father! I just love your family so much!
I love y’all. Y’all’s videos make me so happy, and I don’t know why but y’all make me feel extremely loved. Thank y’all for making me smile and making me feel good about my life.
Audrey, we have all done that! I love you all so much and all the good deeds that you do. If only we all taught our children how important it is to give back!
Olivia, Olivia, OLIVIA!!! If you could have designed a baby, you could never have designed one as adorable as Olivia! Of course, we don't see Olivia having a tantrum (rare, right??) but the love the family showers on this precious gift has surely born an incredible outcome!!
Bert, your story is so touching! Love RAK's. My favorite RAK is when my brother was flying home from a deployment (in his uniform) and afyer a veey long travel day was just starving and so excited to have his feet in the USA again, so during his layover he got himself a huge steak and just savored it. At the end, he went to pay, and someone had anonymously paid for this airman's meal. They refused to let him know who it was. My brother just teared up and felt bad "had I known it was going to happen, I wouldn't have gotten that big steak 😂".
No, we need more amazing Happy People's like your family, the blessings your family gives out, if there were more people doing what your family does the world would be a better place, Thank you Happy People!!!
I have been complimenting people for the last 4 months and I love to see there faces when I say some thing nice to them that they need to hear. Its hard to get them my way but the people that see my worth they say wonderful things about me and good things have come my way big time. I feel that if you do good for others you get goo things also. My favorite thing right now is seeing what my friends and coworkers need from a good snack or some to to talk to about hard things. I feel that you all have shown me to help others and you get good back.
Super wonderful video from the music, editing, launch, and random acts of kindness! Its so much fun to see the maps when the launch starts, too. You guys are awesome!❤
My piece of bread only belongs to me when I know that everyone else has a share, and that no one starves while I eat. - Tolstoy ❤Thank you happy people. 🙏🙏❤
I always love watching your videos throughout the year. But vlogmas is always so fun. And shows how much joy you guys and your kids especially get from helping others. Such a light in the world.
When you think things are bad in your own life you just need to remember there are people out there that have it worse. Remember kindness always wins. 😊
Glad the launch went well. Looking forward to receiving our order. Always enjoy the warmth of your top's with our Canadian chill. You do what you can to help people when they need it. Paying it forward in some little way makes the community just a bit kinder.❄️
My husband and I used to live super close to our O'Charley's so we went there very often. We would always sit at the bar and randomly we would pick a couple at one of the tables around us and pay for thier meal. It was always so much fun to watch! We moved and that restaurant actually closed recently but we will for sure be doing that again soon at some point. Giving is my favorite thing not only this time of year but all year long! Merry Christmas!
Did anybody see the movie Pay it Forward? About the boy doing random acts of kindness as a school project. I won’t say how it ended but it was an awesome movie that started a movement of paying it forward to others. I love that movie and it caused me to do random acts of kindness for others when I can afford to do so. I love the way your family have been doing this for years and loving what you’re doing. I’ve watched all your vlogs from the very beginning and really enjoy watching your kids grow up into the wonderful young people they’re becoming. Olivia is a very lucky child to have been welcomed into such a warm and loving home. God bless you all and He continues to bless you all
That is one of the saddest stories I have ever heard.😢 I would have definitely had to do something as well. How can someone not when they see someone hungry as she was.God bless you for blessing her.😊❤️
I loved seeing the maps with sales!! I was there two little blue dots for me and a gift in another state. This was actually an unusually tough day, something very, very distressing (traumatic) happened to a loved one, so I loved seeing this even more.
We lost my faster in law in 2021, for the whole year of 2022 every time my husband and I ate out no matter the place or time of day, my husband and I bought/paid for others meals in honor of my late father in law. He was a great humbled man that appreciated life and worked hard for his family till the very last day. He is missed so much 💛 thank you and your family for all that you do for others.
Good job Audrey on the RAK!! Ya'll did great at the dinner!! Miss Olivia is quite the animated little lady!! 2 cute/ maybe 3!! Lol! The whole gang was on deck..good launch!! Congrats!! C ya on the next video ! 👍🦊🎅🐺👍
I had someone pay for my meal at a McDonald's one time while I was in uniform. Which was pretty cool. I also go and buy $50 worth of gift cards from Starbucks and have them use them for people in the drive-thru. I also buy 3 cases of girl scout cookies every year and give them to first Responders.
This is why you are my favorite UA-cam channel. You and your family are angels on earth. I wonder if you have a random acts of kindness for the work place?
One day my sister and I where eating at McDonald’s and 2 homeless men came in to get warm. You could tell they where hungry, so my sister and I gave them some money to get something to eat. It really breaks my heart to see people like that. We wish we could of done more. Thank you for sharing your story.
I sincerely love you Bert & Jess you are Beautiful Souls… Thank you for being Authentically You! You are making amazing differences in so many ways, including making us Happy People want to be Better People in any and Every way. Godbless you All sending Divine Love and Gratitude for this platform

Christmas is really hard when people go through hard times it was hard when I first was stationed in Alaska as a private but I came up with extra way of making money so when other privates came up I showed them ways to make it. Bert and Jessica you have always been great people and humble yourselfs to help other people I love you all very much may God truly bless your whole family the rest of this Holiday season.

Well done Sommers Family that story touched my heart. Well done Bert n Jessica for helping that poor woman. Great vid guys ❤❤ Greetings from Down Under
So happy for your successful launch! My daughter and I have had a devastating new year so far, Jan 2 I had a heart attack, I will be fine. Wednesday Jan 3 my daughter’s boyfriend had a grand mal seizure and passed away at 4:47 that evening. He was only 33 and both him and my daughter are special needs. So she is lost, they were engaged and so very happy. Life is so tough now, but with God’s help we will get through this also.
You guys are really good at making these. It makes me both happy and sad,as I never had a real family,or had Christmas or Birthdays growing up. I'm 55 now. It's nice to see real families and good people still exist. I'm coming to Alaska September 4th through 14th of 2024. Starting in Fairbanks. I'm going to take the bus over to North Pole to explore. I hope to run into you guys 👍👍
New Years Eve Eve of 2022, so last year, my husband had to go to the emergency room. The ambulance wouldn’t take him to the VA hospital but they did help me get him into our Ford Escape oh and it was pouring down rain. I stayed with him as long as I could but I finally had to leave. I didn’t go straight home I needed to be surrounded by people especially people that knew me. So I went to Duly’s Coney Island and ordered two coneys and a hot chocolate. Two young men saw how distraught I was and paid for my meal. This happened at two in the morning on a busy Friday night Duly’s is open 24 hours most days. They really lifted my spirits that awful night. My husband is fine now though he scared me twice more this year with medical emergencies. We are both happy to see this year end. 😐💖🐈⬛🐈🌈
My husband and I, always try to help people. There a lot of people that don't help, because they think that people are just trying to take advantage of them, they lazy or it is their fault to be in a bad situation ... We believe that you should always help no matter what, and do it with a kind happy heart. God sees everything and when there is kindness and love in your heart, he will always bless your life like you bless the life of those in need.

Random acts of kindness are my favorite time of year! Thank you Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Your family is just awesome! Your videos touch me and make me happy. Thanks for all you do!

The random of kindness is absolutely amazing. Thank you love that is your family and the LOVE that is a apart of you 🎄💗🎄💗🎄
I absolutely love the wonderful beautiful souls you have!! I love the way you bless others! 💕🥰🙏
Random acts of kindness are life's best moments!
I'm so excited for my 1st Alaskan Apparel order to arrive!
Your family are Always a blessing to others you uplift many people days thank you
Super wonderful video from the music, editing, launch, and random acts of kindness!
Bless you Sommers for giving to those in need
When you think things are bad in your own life you just need to remember there are people out there that have it worse. Remember kindness always wins. 😊
Bert you brought tears. Thank you for doing what you do. Congrats Jessica on another successful launch!
Glad the launch went well. Looking forward to receiving our order. Always enjoy the warmth of your top's with our Canadian chill.
You do what you can to help people when they need it.
Paying it forward in some little way makes the community just a bit kinder.❄️
My husband and I had the chance to pick up the tab for a table of cadets from the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. So awesome to do!
My daughter and I was at a grocery store and this older man didn’t have enough money to pay for is groceries so we paid and it warmed my heart ❤
I absolutely love how much you help others. It keeps me watching for sure.
That's called God answering a prayer using you as the instrument of his work. A calling from him directly to help. Bless you for answering the call.
Good job Audrey on the RAK!! Ya'll did great at the dinner!! Miss Olivia is quite the animated little lady!! 2 cute/ maybe 3!! Lol! The whole gang was on deck..good launch!!

Bert and Jessica you have such loving hearts❤❤😢
Love the Random Acts of Kindness! Such a great example and memory for the children!
I ❤ your random acts of kindness but this one is my favorite.
100% support Random Kindness! No only limit to the holidays.
One day my sister and I where eating at McDonald’s and 2 homeless men came in to get warm. You could tell they where hungry, so my sister and I gave them some money to get something to eat. It really breaks my heart to see people like that. We wish we could of done more. Thank you for sharing your story.

My daughter lock my keys n car w it running as well !!!! Love yall
Bless you and your family. That’s a wonderful way to bless people! 💜
What a lovely, amazing family you all are. Love you!!!
