No, Ricky did NOT make the main. His bike blew up at Daytona, and he finished 18th or so in his heat in new orleans, big guy. I donated 100 dollars to Ricky for that, but the way, so im well aware of how he did.
yamaha, may has only changed there plastics and graphics, but those bikes are SOLID. my favorite brand new bike. there 450f's and 250f's. a well tuned, or spot on carb, with hotstart cant do anything "efi" cant do. and i think its still better, lighter, same performance, and gives bike a better powerband. bikes are not guel injected, there electronicaly carburated. its a throttle body... so IMO yamaha is the best.

they have a higher retail than a honda? they are not cheap. when your paying over 10k for something you cant compare it to a philoshophy created for shelving units
Too many different colors. Yellow front # plate then whit on side plates with black fender. They might have fixed some engine problems but last year's bike really looked cooler
as if try 80 - 100hrs easy, and its not a bad resale value at all, ktms are way overpriced for the package you get, try buying spare parts for a ktm on an average persons budget... doesnt happen way too expensive, suzuki 250f and 450 vs ktm 250f and 450, suzuki wins on speed, handling, pricing. don't get me wrong ktm are good. but overpriced for sure. as far as resale value in australia (where i live) suzukis are very decent

Wrong. Yamaha produces a 10 yr old joke of a two stroke. KTM, GasGas, Ossa, TM, Fantic, Husaberg, and Husqvarna all produce NEW two strokes, all of which will YARD a YZ.
How about their 11 year old 250F motor? And even more pathetic... their 2014 YZF is just going to be a WR prepped for moto, which is a WR450 (their old 450 frontward engine) in a 2012 250F chassis. So basically, their YZF450 for 2014 is just going to be whatever junk parts they had laying around.

i love suzuki but i agree with @upshift123, the seat, #plates, and back fender looks a bit weird.

Actually, James Stewart was the single biggest public relations disaster in Yamaha's history. Even Yamaha will tell you that.

becuase they didnt win a sx race with ryan sipes or anything.
