Have you seen them side by side? There's lots of differences. But I just meant that there have been plenty of brands that have changed their plastics over the last 10 years. Yamaha, and even Husabergs are different.
Same as with most bikes. Takes a little tweaking to get them just ride for "you" - because everyone is different.... I'm not a fan of the fit/finish and attention to detail on the Zukes though...
KTM and Yamaha still produce 2-strokes. I think part of the reason is emissions, but i also think that the companies make more money of 4-strokes than 2-strokes.
Four you can tell by what is called a expansion chamber its the fat pipe four strokes can have whats called a power bomb its much smaller. 2 strokes usually go by ; RM,KX,CR,YZ. Four strokes usually go by RM-Z,YZ(cc)F,CRF,and KX(cc)F.
I have a 2013 rmz 250 revalved by racetech its plush through all the hard breaking bumps. I rode my buddies 2016 rmz 250 last weekend and my hands fingers wrist are beat up with 4 blisters. Those forks suck ass.
I am the owner of a 2011 Honda CRF250... I hate it. I mean ,it's not really rideable. Motofamily313 is right. How dumb can anyone be ,that he includes a free steering damper... they cost freaking much (The steering damper is trash). Today I was riding the RMZ250 and the KX250F... Both great bikes ,in difference to my bike unbelievable great bikes. But I liked the RMZ more... I have also ridden the Honda 2013... Shit.
The Forks are complete garbage wouldn't recommend getting any bike with Showa forks and especially SFF forks from showa...factory wont help you with the unbearable harshness in the forks. This bike is horrible on the breaking bumps at low speeds or high speeds. Overall the bike, frame, motor, Ect. seem fine but no matter what you do to the stock suspension(Showa SFF) you can not get the harshness out and seems to be a knocking noise coming from the fork brand new. Suzuki nor Showa will take responsibility for this issue nor will they admit their is one.
so ur tellin me u would rather have either a mellow bike(suzuki), european bike(ktm) thats a piece of shit, a carborated bike(yamaha), or a kawi? honda is the best machine so far, suzuki got the looks eith the graphics but...
I love my rmz 250 it is fukin amazing i am 14 5'5 an i can still ride very comfterable

not really they got a little sharper and bigger, the old ones stopped right on the gas tank. look at an 03 rm 250's shrouds.

there is no such thing as a 3 stroke it's almost impossible if you know how an engine works.
