    www.rockymount...
    We demonstrate how to properly change your engine oil and oil filter on a 2018 Suzuki RMZ450 Dirt Bike. The same process can be followed for model years 2008-2018 RMZ450's. Suzuki recommends that you are changing out the engine oil every 6 hours of operation. Always refer to your service manual for proper torque specs and oil capacity for each bike model you're working on. Rocky Mountain ATV/MC stocks all the engine oil and the tools to do the job right. Keep up on your motorcycle maintenance at www.rockymount... !

    One other step I like to do (it usually allows a little more oil to drain:
    With drain plug removed, hold kill switch and kick engine 3 times.

      Don’t you think it’s probably bad for your motor to be kicking it over without oil in it?

    • @jcbenson01
      @jcbenson01 4 роки тому +6

      Chris Davies not at all. If you were to start it, yes, absolutely. But just to kick it and rotate a few times will not hurt a thing. The bearings are already lubricated and won’t be spun enough to build up heat and wash the oil out. It’s a step included in the factory service manual.

      I do that with my rmz, it actually makes your oil look newer next time your draining it because the clean oil isn’t mixed with dirty oil

    Can someone tell me why my 2015 rmz 450 is leaking coolant from the overflow tube by radiator cap?? Help please

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  Рік тому +1

      It's hard to say. Could be something like a bad seal or head gasket or something as simple as a bad radiator cap. You can perform a leak down test to see if it is something internal (video here: ua-cam.com/video/CC1EZCxDnLc/v-deo.html) or try to replace the coolant and get a new radiator cap to eliminate that possibility.
