I have a couple of oil marks on my carpet inside and you reminded me to try a steam cleaner on them so thanks a lot. I will let you know if it has worked.
If you watched the video from the beginning, you would have seen that the battery was disconnected before I started the cleaning. I’m not a professional, but many professional detailers use water based products and steam to deep clean hard to reach areas and sticky residue.
Great vid mate lovely job. I have a pre facelift car would later seats like yours fit. Mine is an estate and im told tge hatch back seats fit. Your advice be good as you know about these cars.
Very good clean.. I use set of well fitting rubber floor mats in my focus plus you can high pressure wash them ... don't bye the cheap micymouse ones they slide everywhere and you end up getting pissed off with them and throwing them in the nearest bin .
Thanks. Yes, that’s why I went for these original Ford ones as they grip well on the carpet. My wife’s MK3 has original rubber ones too and they’re excellent.
@@GentilsGarage after that cleaning on your focus it puts mine to shame lol and as you demonstrated the seats are best removed. I wasn't sure if you had to re program the seat safely system after unplugging. Many thanks.
Thank you. The ECP cleaner is TripleQX interior cleaner. The wetvac I used is from VAX which I got off a friend of mine, but a rug doctor is probably better.
@@GentilsGarageHowever, spraying the lighter is not a good idea. You could burn the fuse. Minor damage of course since it affects only the lighter and the fuse costs nothing. I am an owner of focus mk2 from 2009 with the same vision colour. Overall you did a very nice job.
@@antoniskabadakis9022 that’s true, but as I mentioned in the beginning of the video, the battery was disconnected before I removed seats, so nothing was live.
This video made me sad, I just realised I spent 20 minutes watching a guy clean his car, I really do need to get a life! Brilliant job though, well done...
And I thought I was clearing right my car,you are a pro my friend, nice car.
Thank you!
Limpeza fantástica!!! Ficou um mimo! Well done. Like very much.

SUCCESS! Thanks for the nudge. 👍👍👍
Good job
Very good to spray water based product in the 12v socket, especially with focus allways live socket

Thank you very much. The later seats might fit, but one not sure if the airbag ecu would recognise them.

I bet those seats took 2 months to dry out in the UK LOL 😂
Boyan Tomovski haha, luckily it was a heatwave and took less than 2 days. It would have take 2 years if I lived in Scotland :)
@@GentilsGarage 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I use a Dehumidifier;)
You need some paper floor mats, while you move it around 😁
Nice job! I just bought a mk2 focus and am inspired to deep clean. Could you provide links to the ecp cleaner and wet vac you used? Thank you!

@@GentilsGarage thank you!
No damage to electrical parts?
No, as it was steam and wiped off immediately

@@GentilsGarage I am sorry you are right. So no problem. Car is like new after this deep cleaning. Well done.
