Just a question sir, is it possible to delete the speedlimiter of a vehicle without having to mess the ECU via remap? Like removing the sensor attached to the intake pipe or throttle body or something like that. We have a 3.0 MT GL Grandia (which chokes at 160kph) and I'm curious to see the speed it can go in stock tune.
A quick and dirty explanation of it is: Horsepower numbers determines how fast you would hit the wall. While torque numbers will let you know how far would you bring that same wall with you.

@@RR-cg2rq yes it can 140kph at 3rd gear (7k rpm). Yes 7k rpm, sir syd actually opened the rev limiter until 7k rpm kita rin naman sa dyno run. Once ko pa lang sinubukan sa walang kotse na daan. nakakatakot din kasi sa brio magaan masyado body.

Thanks to SpeedLab for a job well done tuning my 1.2 Brio to its full potential. Wala nang stages ng remap, diretso na sa max, and they remap within parameters. Yes, that is my Brio. I remapped it with just 2,600km odometer reading. Sa Brio kasi, alam mo agad na sulit ang magpa-remap. As sir Syd pointed out in the video, ito ang mare-realize mo upon driving this car. 1. Has the potential, you know it pero parang nag-lean si Honda to fuel efficiency. The throttle delay can save unwanted fuel burns kaso may delay nga. 2. Speed limited at 147kph. I don't drive that fast, pero sayang naman kung naka-limit lang sa ganun. Bonus na lang din ito sa remap, unless kakarera ka. Hindi po ako kumakarera FYI. what I can say, iba pa rin ang brand new. hindi pwedeng argument yung mas mura ang 2nd hand at mas malakas pa. meron pang ibang factors like reliability. nakamura nga baka naman kailangan may medicol ka lagi baon hehe. sapat naman yung power niya for the size.
ako po ang owner ng brio. guess what, hindi ko pa pinalagpas ng 100kph since that remap day. :) pero yung acceleration and lag delay ramdam ko for everyday use. hindi porke nagpa remap kakarera. watch also my review about this remap to learn more. :)
