Your videos just circled back onto my TL. Congrats on the f80. My wife and I recently moved on from our Subarus and are now driving a nardo 8V rs3. We tried an f80 but lack of AWD for winter ultimately made us choose the rs3. Regardless, Night and day and I don’t miss my old car one bit. Until I’m ready to pull the trigger on my own manual f80 M, I’ll be tuning into these videos! The wheels look incredible btw!
Diameter is the distance across the exhaust and circumference is the distance around lol love your videos and definitely will be getting an F8x soon but just a funny little detail I noticed in this video 😂😂
Sounds a bit more toned down but smoother/less raw compared to the single mid from AA. Running just the single mid on my F80 with the comp muffler. Don't get much of any rasp or drone but sometimes on the highway it's not the greatest
Right, which is what I was after. The rawness of the aa midpipe with the muffler delete was good at certain rpm’s but under normal driving conditions, it just didn’t sound as good as I wanted it. With a Downpipe, this will sound even better.
Always looking to improve, so always trying different mic placements and methods anytime I do these videos. I’ll have to work on focusing on audio levels and better equipment. Appreciate the feedback!
Hey man had a question, when you had your subi what was your best A/S tire you ran when you daily drove here in NJ. I live in NJ and cant think of what tire to run. I was thinking maybe like an UHP A/S tire but not sure.

Michelin a/s 4’s. No question.

@HA-xt2lu dws06 are great all seasons as well, but come in second for me. I’ve had both and the Michelins are superior overall in my opinion.

I still feel the best sound is downpipes and equal length midpipe with stock competition muffler for the s55.
I’m am not a big fan of the el midpipe sound. Too high pitched for me. I think the s55 sounds best with the single and deeper tone.
