Tip for avocados. When ripe wrap tightly in tin foil. They will last about three months. Take out and wash skin before use. Amazing 😮

And with no preservatives!
I love myself most when I have some protein and a grain prepped! Saves so much time but still very versatile!

I love green onions and the spoil in days. Chop them and freeze them them flat in a sandwich bags. Grab a handful anytime you need/want them

When I boil broccoli (any vegetables) I save the broth/water. Later on if I boil water for rice or pasta I use the broccoli water. Soaks up the vitamins
brilliant!
I have a gallon size ziplock in my freezer for veggie scraps, especially onion, carrot, celery. And when it's full I make veggie broth.

I was going to buy a new fridge mostly for the freezer space but I would've had to cut my cabinet so it would fit and so instead I purchased a mini 3.5 cu ft freezer for less than $135 USD and it has changed my life!

😊😊 my tip, chop up celery and place in a container, fill with water, put in fridge...This will keep it SOOOOO crispy & fresh for at least 2 weeks😉😉😉

Having a full refrigerator is like the new 'status symbol' in 2024. Used to be a Louis Vuitton bag. These are the times we live in. lol My tip: also have food that doesn't need to be in the fridge, like potatoes, rice, whole grains, canned goods. Those are all usually cheaper, can be bought in bulk and you can measure out a portion that you will eat in one meal so it doesn't become leftovers and get forgotten.

Could you use a unpaper towel for the carrots instead of a paper towel if you don't have those? I love the idea cause I always have carrots going bad
I'm sure you could! My favorite way to store carrots is in a Tupperware filled with water. Just change the water once a week amd they last so long!
