The airplane guy keeps saying IFR and magnetos (sp?) like we know what he is talking about lol With that said, it was a neat experience for you I am sure.
LOL! Apologies for the pilot lingo. IFR means instrument flight rules. Which is the FAA rules we were using for this particular flight. Lamens terms......just means the weather is cruddy with low lying clouds. Magnetos are what give the spark plugs their spark to fire the engine. Airplane piston engines have 2 magnetos with 2 sets of spark plugs for safety in the event one fails. Great comment!

The airplane guy keeps saying IFR and magnetos (sp?) like we know what he is talking about lol
With that said, it was a neat experience for you I am sure.
@@jasonbergeron6347 thank you Jason
@@jasonbergeron6347 That's interesting Jason,my Kawasaki KX 125 Motocross bike i owned also had a magneto if im not mistaken
Remind me of the Cessna vs Veyron episode with James May being the pilot!
Great video!!
Hello Donna...
How did you feel when watching movie?
I am interested in the uncut version of the airplane.
Wow that is definitely a long ride I'm from SW Florida we went from fort Myers to Houston took us a 18 hours drive. The 75 to That i-10 is long feels like it will never stop.
When I was a flight paramedic, one of the pilots always said the helicopter glides like a Snap-On tool box. 😀
