When a client is in pain from muscle spasm or a disc bulge in the lumbar spine, seatbelt traction in the clinic can be really helpful and effective. To try to replicate this at home for clients we give them 2 great 'home-traction' options.
1️⃣ Therapist Traction - Seatbelt
2️⃣ Partner Traction - Towel
3️⃣ Band Traction - Powerband

I’ve come up with a spine decompression sort of. Elbows on the floor on your knees and tilt forward (sort of a plank but on your knees) and relax your back and try to keep it straight but you might hurt your head a bit because of blood rush to your head.

Would you recommend inversion/traction tables?
Could she not loop her feet into the band like you did with a partner? Resulting in the pull from her ankles just in supine position instead of prone position??

This is the sort of thing you only doing the acute phase until the pain is dissipated that you can do other core strengthening and spinal mobility, exercises that get you stronger and less symptomatic
