This house is perfect for a single person or a small family. I love the pocket doors, they don't interfere with the space, and I like the laundry. This fits all my boxes, since I'm single but do at times have guests. Bravos!

Thats close to perfect Jasper. Cover the porch and a Carport and its there for me. I have tried to draw crude plans for a house but cant get the dimensions or the Layout where they flow. My hubby and I are getting ready to Retire and we want Comfort without waste.

Jetzt hätte ich eine bitte an dich. Kannst du uns, ein modernes Voll Ziegel Haus mit Flachdach, Kamin als Raum trenner, TV Wand extra, das TV Gerät sollte wenn möglich in Kopfhöhe platziert werden. Und mit vielen modernen details. Eventuell mit überdachten Pool und mit einem überdachten unterstell Platz für das Auto KONSTRUIEREN. Ein Single Haus und ein zwei Bett Haus. Ich würde mich sehr freuen, und bin schon sehr neugierig auf deine Fantasie.
Love that you have added a separate entranceway space! The living and kitchen/dining areas are very comfortable to navigate. Only one problem: The dishwasher won't be able to open with the oven jutting out next to it so that would need to move. Of course, I'm always Team Bathtub so I'd need the bathroom rearranged to make room for one (maybe a top of toilet sink would do the trick?). But very nice design overall! 😄

The front and back entries get an "A"! The living room might just need a rearrangement of furniture to accommodate more seating. The kitchen has ample counter space but needs more upper cabinets, and perhaps a stylish dish cabinet could be placed where there is now a plant. I would have liked a half-bath somewhere, but there's just no space for it. Still, it's a good, viable plan!
The entry is great. An inner door to create a vestibule, and perfect. The kitchen is awkward. The fridge beside the sink like that does not work. I would move the sink to the crntre of the back wall with a window over it. Move the stove to the side wall opposite the fridge. Suddenly there is a work triangle that functions well. I would remove the window where the sink currently is, amd then upper cabinets around all 3 walls. Shallow over the fridge, then all the way around, ending over the peninsula, only breaking for the sink and stove hood. I would also get rid if the bar stools and extra deep work surface in the peninsula. Keep the back edge where it is to increase the floor space of the kitchen. Those few inches would make a huge dufference as well as reducing the cost of the work surface. The front bedroom needs a rethink. The bedside table is making it impossible to use two if the drawers in the wardrobe. Plus, there are only 4 drawes in each room. Assuming that at least one of tge bedrooms is going to have two people in it, the clithing storage is woefully inadequate. I don't know about where you live, but here were have to gave what anounts to 3 wardrobes. Spring/autumn, summer, and winter. We have to be prepared to deal with trmperatures that range from -40 to +40 degrees Celsius/Centegrade. There needs to be storage for winter boots and parkas as well as sweaters and hoodies plus jeans, shorts, snow pants, and the whole gamut of summer weather clothing. It takes space, and a lot of it. Looking at the floorplan, i would take the back wall of the kitchen/laundry areas even with the back wall of the bedroom. That extra few feet make a massive difference without having any real negative effect on the cost of the building. The linear feet of wall will remain unchamged, and the footings, foundation, and wall framing will be simplified. Extending the roof to form a cover over a rear verandah would not be difficult or expensive.
The above counter sinks are simply an added cost and waste of space in the bathrooms. A conventional under counter sink is a cleaner look and offers more useful space.
In the bathroom I would place the vanity in the back left under the window. The toilet in front of the vanity to the left of the door. Then on the right on the long side there is a bathtub with a shower attachment. Otherwise beautiful except for the bathroom.
Bathroom is a disappointment. Looking for a larger shower and sink area with storage. I would give up a little space from either or both bedrooms for more bathroom funcation. Added steps from back porch to lawn makes sense. I like the amount of closed storage in front hall. Long term storage always seems non existent in these plans, but the extra laundry space may be adapted for that.
Dishwasher & oven door compete for same space when opened. Not my favorite design. Sorry just a little of things I would want to change. Not my incentive for purchasing a home .

This home is very symmetrical on the outside. I'd make it bigger with a larger pitch to the roof. Enough room for a decent attic area.
