Solarz Bone dry has become my glue of choice over the last few years. As we get into summer, the BWO gets a lot smaller, 22 to 26's along with the Trico's 24 to 28's- I don't make long casts myself, the shorter the cast the better I can control the drift. Have a great vacation.
Perfect use of stripped herl. The spacing not only results in a slimmer moreover natural segmentation. With the win win combination factors of less weight of materials, less resin/ superglue, less cdc needed to support and present the fly. Especially with examples of #12 down to #20. Again on the dog days of the fish only interested in tiny natural food items in and around the surface layers the use of two of these beauties in conjunction with small snatchers, hares ear, ptn, crunchers, D Bachs, midge, shipman, muskins,or even small spider style patterns. Cover the water close to the boat or into the slicks of wind lanes. Or have a daddy/hopper on the point. Or if you absolutely have to. A muddler, boobie, or fab to act as an sighter/ indicator.

It can be fished in a team or just on its own. Works best in smaller sizes #14/16.
