I've been putting on highlighter with a wet beauty blender for a long time! You can kind of make a subtle highlight do double duty, soft with a brush or more intense with a damp sponge if you're feeling frisky.
I'm pretty sure incandescent is the one included in the original hourglass ambient lighting palette (with dim and radiant) and it's gorgeous! Btw Tiff, please do a review or just talk about your love bracelet! I've been wanting one for a while, what's your size in that bracelet? I'm guessing 16 or 17?
Tiffany I absolutely love your new hair, I seriously can't stop staring!! Props to you for always being so down to earth and keeping it real for all of your subscribers :) you rock, keep being awesome!
Thank you for showing the strobe light sculptor in action! I totally thought it wasn't necessary when I saw it in store! I'll have to go back and pick one up😎
I have a strobing review on the color pop strobing kit, and I did the difference between strobing and contouring.. i seriously love the strobing look its so dewy!
Incandescent is also in the original ambient lighting palette (and the shade I use the most out of it)! I'm pretty excited to have that as an individual compact!
You have gotten me completely obsessed with the LM Matte Radiance Powder! I love how glowy I look after using it, and I use it as a face powder! It's incredible, on my dry dull skin! Thank you doll😍😘
I didn't pick up that sponge when I bought the iridescent light , but after watching your video I got out that ridiculous baby beauty blender and used that . Wow, your right it does work with both! Thanks for the idea 😊
Your videos are great altogether, but I absolutely love that they have not become gimmicky like many others as of late. It's harder than I'd like to find genuine and honest videos, I'm glad that I can always rely on your channel. Also, the new hair looks ah-mazing! :)
Swatched the strobing powders at Sephora today..not a big fan for my skin because I'm acne prone and there's tons of glitter particles BUT that sponge is AMAZING! I was so tempted to purchase both brilliant light and the sponge just because of it's application and the bright tone on my skin (I'm NC 35).
Have you tried the black beauty blender?!? I have both the pink and that black one and let me tell you, not even the pink one compares to that black one!!! Like OmG that black one just works wonders and NOTHING compares to it!!! Def give it a try if you haven't already. That hourglass is intriguing tho 😁 and those ambient powders told you the ethereal one was the best!!!! ❤️👍🏻
Good job, now I know which one to get for me. I actually like the incandescent with the slight pink and the Laura Mercier for when I don't want pink. Thanks.
Tiffany can you make videos about drugstore makeup too please? Absolutely no hate, i just can't afford this stuff lol and I would like to see drugstore stuff
I find Hourglass makes it all so confusing with the similarities and different palettes available. Wow! But I love the look! Thanks for trying to sort it all out!
I know it might sound funny but the Incan I use as a setting powder with dual fiber and they are so pretty. I used to use lumi powder but I got these cause I love them so much but they are amazing and I love them with spu but the beauty blender or phy form work the same
Thank you for such an in depth review of these hourglass strobing powders!!! I've been doing so much research online to figure out which one or 2 of the 4 would work for me. I love their ambient powders and want to buy one or 2 but definitely not all 4...but seems like all the sponsored reviews on youtube do not give you an answer as to which one is the best or which one is better for different skintones. They all say all 4 is good and the sponge is good. Awesome review!! :)
Is the Incandescent shade the same as the "exclusive" shade from the original Ambient Lighting palette? If not how does it compare? I have to admit, if they're the same, I'd be a little annoyed, since none of the other colors in the palette do anything for me but I ended up getting it because of that shade, which I liked. This wasn't too long ago, so if they are the same, I'm definitely returning the palette and just getting the individual shade.
thanks for doing this review....I was in need of a brush for my Laura Mercier highlight, which I got because you love it so much...I think I might try the blender tool it looks like it would work really well
I bought hourglass before because of you I know you love them so much. You looks so beautiful and flawless too bad the other strobing powders doesn't work for you I have a tan skin tone I'll take the euphoric or erradescent just kidding been thinking to buy this. It's good that you swatch I've been waiting for somebody to do it so I know what works for my skin. Thanks for this video it help me what I choose for my skin tone.
Great video Tiffany. I love that hair color! I love Hourglass but these just don't look like a must have for me :( I kinda feel like its more of a use more but get half the amount, and that's not how I roll lol. I need more bang for my buck. I skipped out on that 6 pan palette after seeing the reviews and the size to cost in person. I do have the 3 pan illuminating palette and the 3 pan blushes and I really enjoy both of those.
i tried them, and have two of them in previous hourglass palettes, and i can only use them as blush toppers because they aren't pale enough for me >.< then again i do not need new highlighters, i have a lot of them, so i guess im saving money .. that i will spend for another makeup piece ;P
+jalapena2007 it will be similar! What I like about this one is the shape (with the flat edge) and the little flocked blending side. the flat side really helps it to lay down a lot of the color, which for these powders, helps a lot since they aren't super bright on my skin.
Real tecniques makes a sponge that is wonderful and has a flat side just like this hourglass one:) that's the first thing I thought when I saw this! And it's much more affordable than the beauty blender.
Good video! Hourglass is really one of those brands that annoys me. I feel like they are expensive for no reason (i mean, $80 for the edit palette?!). LM is way better (and honestly, the best highlighting powder I have ever used has been TooFaced Candlelight) xoxo
Yes, I wish more companies would make highlighting powders for the fair ladies!
but also some forget about darker skin tones! Go figure😩
Marii Sanchez that is also very, very true and frustrating!!
I was in Sephora yesterday and the New Hourglass strobing powder were the most mature friendly when applied to my face.
I've been putting on highlighter with a wet beauty blender for a long time! You can kind of make a subtle highlight do double duty, soft with a brush or more intense with a damp sponge if you're feeling frisky.
I'm here for blonde Tiffany! Yaaaassssss!
Could watch and listen to you all day ... Can you oblige and just stay recording ...😉 x
+heather holyland Same, I'm usually not into long videos but I love hers haha
Yeah she's boss x
I just got Incandescent earlier today. Not sure it's a must have but it's pretty. Laura Mercier is my all time favorite too. xo Heidi
+jalapena2007 Is it the same as the Incandescent in the trio a few yrs ago?

I was just about to comment that! And if i recall correctly she loved that when it came out....in fact, pretty sure one of her vids sold me on it!
+Sabrina H It's almost the same, and has the same name, but they've added shimmer to it.
you can pull off just about any hairstyle or color. so jealous!
Tiffany I absolutely love your new hair, I seriously can't stop staring!! Props to you for always being so down to earth and keeping it real for all of your subscribers :) you rock, keep being awesome!
+Jena Habeil very well said!
Loving your hair every time you put a new vid up...this new color is so perfect on you!
Incandescent is also in the original ambient lighting palette (and the shade I use the most out of it)! I'm pretty excited to have that as an individual compact!

Incadecent was in the trio a few yrs ago! My favorite!
+Natalie N *Incandescent*? ..lol

I have to try out the hourglass ambient bronzer! It looks so pretty!!!
In my opinion it can be a bit orange, but it could be my skin tone too. It looks kinda orange even on my, brush though.
Good job, now I know which one to get for me. I actually like the incandescent with the slight pink and the Laura Mercier for when I don't want pink. Thanks.
I am loving your hair Tiffany!! 😍 it looks so good
I'm loving the new hair omg
It looks so pretty 😊 and the packaging of the powders is really enticing haha
You should do a Q+A
+Lora Smith I've meant to do one for months now! I'll do a new one soon!
+MakeupByTiffanyD :) :)
Love, love, love your new haircolor! You look gorgeous.
Maybe I'll give these a try in the summer when I have a tan!
Just bought the Laura Mercier Highlight powder, love it!
Fab video Tiffany! I ordered the Incandescent one the other day and I'm so glad you like that one best as I'm super pale! :) xx
You were sent all of these? I really like the pinky colored one !
I was just about review these! you beat me to it. Love you and the video Tiffany :)
Has the laura mercier powder some sparkle, glitter or shimmer? Or is it just glowy? :)
Love your videos Tiffany!
Love the blonde hair!
Tiffany can you make videos about drugstore makeup too please? Absolutely no hate, i just can't afford this stuff lol and I would like to see drugstore stuff
I am dark skin and swatching these at Sephora today :) Thanks for sharing Tiffany
I find Hourglass makes it all so confusing with the similarities and different palettes available. Wow! But I love the look! Thanks for trying to sort it all out!
This hair color really suits you 😊 I love it!
I love ur new hair colour. It's so pretty on you.
I literally have no interest in buying these products....but I still am watching because I just love your videos :P
Incandescent is actually part of the ambient lighting palette. Loved your review!
I know it might sound funny but the Incan I use as a setting powder with dual fiber and they are so pretty. I used to use lumi powder but I got these cause I love them so much but they are amazing and I love them with spu but the beauty blender or phy form work the same
You were cracking me up with your arm in this one!
Thank you for such an in depth review of these hourglass strobing powders!!! I've been doing so much research online to figure out which one or 2 of the 4 would work for me. your hair is so pretty! * just had to pause the video to tell you * :) xx
I didn't make it 5 sec into the video before I had to stop to tell you that your hair looks really nice. You look lovely today.
Love the blond hair ✨💖so pretty
that spongy tool really seems to work. gotta get me one of those!
Is the Incandescent shade the same as the "exclusive" shade from the original Ambient Lighting palette? If not how does it compare? This wasn't too long ago, so if they are the same, I'm definitely returning the palette and just getting the individual shade.
These really caught my eye!! I will be purchasing soon! :)
Seeing you so excited about that sponge, makes me really want to wet it and see if it's comparable to the beauty blender =D
I'm going to try my LM matte radiance with my real techniques sponge. It's got a flat side! xoxo
thanks for doing this review....I was in need of a brush for my Laura Mercier highlight, which I got because you love it so much...I think I might try the blender tool it looks like it would work really well
Love what you're wearing on your lips!
isn't the incandescent in the ambient lighting palette? the 3 pan palette?
what do you recommend other than laura mercier for ones without that fleck of glitter (really not into that glitter look.. prefer more natural glowy)
I bought hourglass before because of you I know you love them so much. What lip color are you wearing? I am indecisive on these. Maybe I need to go play with them in store.
It's listed in description box; Anastasia Beverly Hills liquid lipstick in Pure Hollywood
I love your lashes can you tell me what they are ty x
She's just blessed with naturally perfect eyelashes
you look so beautiful !!
Wow is that the Cartier Love bracelet? Its amazing!
Girl. .. NYX has an illuminator called RITUALISTIC. Exactly what you're looking for.
Tiffany what did you use on your eyes? Love it and would like to try it out
Did you use that blender wet or dry for highlighting?
Great video! thank you for helping to sort these out! : ) Also...loving the new love bracelet!!!
Do you think the Beauty Blender will do the same as the Hourglass spongie thing? I have the BB but not the other so I can't compare. Thanks!! xo Heidi
+jalapena2007 it will be similar! What I like about this one is the shape (with the flat edge) and the little flocked blending side. the flat side really helps it to lay down a lot of the color, which for these powders, helps a lot since they aren't super bright on my skin.
+MakeupByTiffanyD Thanks Tiffany. 😘
So maybe the Real Techniques version of the B?
+MakeupByTiffanyD would the flat edge of the real techniques sponge be similar then?
Real tecniques makes a sponge that is wonderful and has a flat side just like this hourglass one:) that's the first thing I thought when I saw this! And it's much more affordable than the beauty blender.
Tiffany what blush are you wearing??
Which Hourglass powder should I skip if I have the Laura Mercier ?
+99melody99 oh good question!
I love all your videos!
incandecent is the name of one in the original hourglass palette.
These have really chunky, noticeable glitter all over - contrary to what all the "first impressions" and "reviews" here on UA-cam have claimed.
tiff drlng can u plz tellwht mascra r u using
I love your Cartier Love bracelet!
That looks like a cartier bracelet, is it?
Awesome comparison and review, mahalo!
Try the new Becca highlighter!
If you dampen the sponge you'll get a more intense strobe!
Good video! Hourglass is really one of those brands that annoys me. I feel like they are expensive for no reason (i mean, $80 for the edit palette?!). LM is way better (and honestly, the best highlighting powder I have ever used has been TooFaced Candlelight) xoxo
Great Review.. thank you!
Did you make this video without ever trying the sponge?.... Lol ok
+HiForLovex3 "first impressions" ;) so yes.
oh my god I'm fair and I ordered the euphoric online 💔💔😢
