Yes I love all the luminous powders that I have! Some days when I just put on concealers at spots, no foundation I still use that powder to go all over my face to give a more refined look. I also have that nude blush and the color nice and subtle. But it's a little too shimmery for me as a blush sometimes so I use my wet beauty blender to go over it a bit to make the shimmer a bit more subtle.

I recently picked up the ambient metallic strobe lighting palette (found it on ebay) and I LOVE it. I have heard whispers of them making singles which would be great. Also can't live without the diffused light powder. It's the only thing I use to set my under eyes.
I pretty much love everything Hourglass makes. You have some great picks but it is definitely hard to pick just 5. My favorites are the Vanish Seamless Foundation Stick (Shell), Blush in Mood Exposure and Ethereal Glow, Ambient Lighting Powder in Ethereal Light, bronzer in Diffused Bronze Light. Great video! Yay for Top 5 Tuesdays!

I love Dim Light, I have strong pink undertones and it works perfectly and gives a great subtle highlight also over blush if you want a hint of sheen :)

I love hourglass, I'm so happy you did this video. Not too many people talk about hourglass on youtube, not sure why that is since all their products are just beautiful. I especially love their new powder, it's awesome ;o)
I love Hourglass!! My favs are the strobe blush in euphoric fusion, luminos bronze light, diffused light and dim light. Ethereal light is so glittery I dont like it as much.
Have you tried wayne goss brushes? The Airbrush is AMAZING with Hourglass cheek products and the limited edition 2017 Holiday brush ist great with the finishing powders.
I use Kat Von D's Lock-It Setting Powder brush with the ambient lighting powders and it works perfectly. I think the reason why it may start to look heavy on the skin as you've indicated is due to the denser brush you were using. I am a big fan of Hourglass' blushes as well.

I love hourglass so enjoy seeing people’s tips on their favourite things. Wish I had that blush palette, I DIE HARD love hourglass blushes. Do you have any problems with the Illume trio fading on you? I bought it and so want to love it but it fades so fast off my cheeks :( I’ve used primer and dusted the hourglass loose veil powder on top but it still fades and is completely gone within a Few hours. Any tips to make creams last?

I just LOVE how you do your cheek highlight. It’s so well-blended and natural yet you can see it. It’s also very smooth-looking, not powdery, glittery or chalky. How do you do it? What highlighter are you using? Awesome video, BTW. Hourglass (and Pat McGrath) are my favorite makeup brands♥️

Thank you for another smart, insightful, video. How do you feel the strobe products play with texture, fine lines, etc. ? I love shimmer, but much of it is aging.
I can’t personally say but I’ve seen on other reviews that it doesn’t seem to emphasize texture.
Hourglass tends to lean warmer than cool. I love the Hourglass Confession lipstick and wish they would come out with a few cooler pink shades. Hopefully, the Illume Color Trio will be popular, because I'd love to see this in a cooler option. I adore makeup, but I don't want it to be obvious that I'm wearing it. Sounds ridiculous, I know. Hourglass powders are an obvious tell on me. As I get older, regardless of how little I apply, their powders require a hydration mist. This extra step makes all the difference. I loved the Luminous powder to set my under eye, but now it emphasizes the fine lines. Sisley's Rose D'Orient (no glitter) is the best powder I have found for the under-eye area.

What is the difference between setting and finishing powders?
I picked up the Ambient Strobe lighting palette three months ago I was very surprised to find that it was still in stock! I forget which store I purchased it from but it must have been the very last one I have not seen it anywhere since.
Gia Hart You Got Lucky!! They were a Holiday release. Hopefully this comming November they will come out with more Trio Palettes...Although the brand is doing so well right now that they may not..?

I have a hard time choosing the powder shade and some say on Beautylish Luminous Light is too dark for light skin and yet... your skin looks light to me. Do you think it is more of an undertone thing... I mean... is it too warm and if I am cool to neutral should I avoid it? Thank you!

I've only had the chance to play with two of them - Pika Pika and Shu Iro. The Pika Pika creased pretty quickly, but I only tried it once. The Shu Iro didn't crease, but I only used a light sheer layer of it which looked amazing. No creasing. I think there will probably a bit of experimentation involved. I don't have oily eyelids at all, so I don't know if that would contribute to creasing. The ones without sparkle seem to have a little more staying power. Just a guess.
Use luminous as contour, sounds crazy, but give a try!

I purchased the hourglass eyeshadow palette few years back it was the driest eyeshadow ever. Not sure if they have changed their formula. I have purchased their blushes (1 Dim infusion, 2nd forgot the name), have purchased their primer and the liquid lipsticks (Icon, Rose, Empress, Raven). I totally wasted money on the eyeshadow, the primer, blush, lipsticks were alright but one would expect more from such expensive brand.
Having said that I have not purchased or used their highlighters which they are known for, every Sephora sale I have the highlighter palette in my basket and then take it out. I might buy one of their mini highlighter to restore my faith in this brand.
If the price of the items were like of Mac then one would say it is reasonable but that price tag one has high expectations. Oh! and I also want to get their stick foundation which was all over social media last year and the year before I guess.
Their new eyeshadow palettes are improved, I think. They’re not as powdery and a bit creamier. I also find them more pigmented!
love hourglass, everything is great ! my top products are the 1.5mm gel eyeliner, extreme sheen lipgloss, veil primer, arch brow pencil, ambient lighting palette and strobe lighting blush. i did the same and sneaked in a cheeky +1 😃

Elaine Bines hi! Believe it or not, I use a fat paddle brush (from Alexis Vogel) and use a big swath across the forehead, a big swath down each cheek, and pat it over the nose area. No buffing. I’d be muddy if I buffed. It works perfectly 😊

I'm going to a surprise 50th birthday party next month, for a friend I haven't seen for ten years! - I'll purchase at Liberty in London as i live in UK and will use same technique - no buffing - no muddy finish lol - I need all the help I can get! 😉

Hourglass is definitely more a "base" brand than a "color" brand for me. I like the veil mineral primer and immaculate foundation, and the eye liner and the brow pencil. I'm kind of over the whole ambient collection though. Random observation: for some reason Hourglass always has super awkward shadowless/zoomed in product pictures on department store websites.
This is so subjective, but I think the Confession Ultra Slim lipstick is absolutely wonderful.
