A few sellers have watched to many Barrett-Jackson auctions for the price they're asking.
Lol... only a few? 🤣
Honestly it seems they all have on market place!
Thanks for watching and commenting
The 1956 Buick would be a cool car and would be my top choice for a almost done project car, that's just my opinion though, but 50s cars have a cool stylish look and even a little bit of a futuristic look to them that I like, you found some great picks in Kansas 👍
Yeah it was a good car and I do like me an old buick.. the 50s cars just had so mane beautiful and elegant body lines.. some of my favorites. And years ago Kansas was the place to find good projects for reasonable prices.. I've pulled many classics out of there as a young man .
@@MOTORHEADMISFITS-zk9su Very cool, I would love to go back in time when some of the old cars now weren't so far gone, here on the east coast cars get rusted out pretty quick because of snow and other weather conditions, so a lot of the old project cars around here have some rust flakes and layers, but I have found some clean ones, iam actually 15 yrs old now and have loved cars especially old ones my whole life, iam hopefully going to be an auto tech when I get older, if everything plans out okay, iam young but very driven to accomplish this goal
The wheel/tire combinations on these cars... Just kill the numbers
Yep... thanks for watching and commenting
I'm loving this channel, as a Brit I don't know much about US cars but you guys sure built some beautiful metal and as I always say as a car guy, every day is a learning day. Also, the way you word things has me rolling with laughter like your comment about put your helmet back on and do not reproduce!!
My kingdom for a P5b in decent condition ! ( New Jersey , USA )
Thank you sir.. America did make some beautiful machines back in the day.. I wish we start building them again. Glad my commentary gives you a laugh.
Thanks for watching and commenting as always
The 77 Camaro is not far off. You can spend 10,000 fixing rust in these cars
My favorite channel
Thank you sir we do appreciate that.
Well like I told my son before you commit do yourself a favor and research it first, find out where the weak points are and then have a trusted automotive mechanic check it out. So many scammers out there today.
Absolutely.
Not sure, but it looks to me like all the wheel wells on the Buick were cut/radiused. I don't go for that kind of mod.
In this case its not been... but I do totally agree with you on not liking that very much.
Thanks for watching and commenting
For the last car that you have in the video, I personally think it's an exceptional price for it. Granted, if the seller is being 💯 percent real and honest about everything coming with it, I personally believe it is a great steal, again, in my opinion that is.😎
Yes I agree.. but it's always subject to change once you see it in person, but it's a decent vehicle.
Thanks for watching and commenting
Great video, I think the '57 Chev is a good pick, preferably at a lower price though.
Yeah it wasn't a bad looking car .. and for a lower price would make someone a cool cruiser.
Thanks for watching and commenting
The depth of Mopar ugly was the 62 Dart IMO . They started getting less ugly in 63 but just a little. Bless their hearts !
🤣 yeah that was a ugly car.. but the old valiant was worse.
Thanks for watching and commenting
Man I look forward to your uploads!!! Fuckin funny shit and even funnier people out there!!! Keep em coming!!!
Thanks man sure great to hear that.. thanks for always wanting and commenting.
For sure man! Love it always! Like cold beers on a shitty day!!! Cause cold beers make every shitty day great!!!
Or Chrysler the great big block motors that came with the 426 413
Hell Ya!!
Thank you sir!
If the floor pans have been replaced then you can be sure there is heavy rust and rot everywhere, so caveat emptor (buyer beware) at any price and at $18,500 this is a pass for sure
In most cases I agree.. but over the years I have seen plenty of stuff that only needed floors,
But you are correct on buyer beware and that price.
Thanks for watching and commenting
GTO 8,000, the most, I bet has a lot of rust at rockers and rear quarters.
Oh I'm sure it's full of hidden things under the paint. Thanks for watching and commenting
If that Falcon convertible passes the magnet test and the subframes are rust free it would be worth what they are asking. Something's telling me there's some nasty rust hiding in her.
Oh I'm sure there is rust somewhere.. you gotta really look it over. Just because it's shiny doesn't mean it's not shit!

I kinda like the beetle. The 68 GTO would have a almost decent starting point of less than half the asking price. That being said its going to set a very long time. The 48 Plymouth is cool, would like to see the starting around 6k. Of the tri fives the only year I like is the 55, can't afford one but 55 or no 5. The 48 Ford could be cool with a satin black paint job and a bit lower staring price. Even with the S-10 wheel and column. 63 Ford price, no. 66 Barracuda price, no. 49 Fleetline price, no no no. The "firm" 64 Falcon will stay right where it is forever most likely. The 56 Buick price.............. Enough said. There is a late 70s early 80s yellow Z-28 in Amanda Ohio that is on facebook. I looked at the car when it was in Circleville over a year ago and its really nice but his asking is crazy, 30 some K. Have you seen this one? I saw it on there a couple days ago but can't remember the exact year it is. He has been trying to sell it more than a few years now. Another great video, thank you.
No I haven't seen it .. but WOW that's a I don't want to sale it..and I definitely agree with your thoughts on the rest..
Thanks for watching and commenting as always.
57 Chevy 12,000, to 14,most
Yeah
I took notice of the GTO firewall and it appears to be orange before it was painted blue..Might be a judge..i would say check that vin number....
It's hard to tell from pictures.. but yes a build sheet or Vin would be helpful in this matter.
Thanks for watching and commenting
Some of the cars are really not to bad but the prices are way out of line.
Dodge had personality, plus wasn't anything that would see anything but tail lights from them.
Now.. I've seen plenty mopars eating some chevy smoke...🤣
Thanks for watching and commenting
@@MOTORHEADMISFITS-zk9su I was at Scott Palmers today, and I didn't see any bow ties there. All blown Hemis. They were putting bearings in Stoufers.
If Camaro is solid not bad..maybe 8000
Still to much in my opinion.. but it's really what someone who likes it would pay.. I've paid more for stuff than I should have just because I like it..lol
$4,000 for a bug??
I use to buy them for $50-100 all day long. 😂
🤣
4-6 on the GTO
About 8 or 9 grand on the ground at the most
Maybe..
Thanks for watching and commenting
Man you sure do disrespect the 60s nice body style of the dodgers p I want all kinds of dodges through the 70s 60s 50s they got three sexy body lines
It's not disrespect because someone finds a car ugly.. just consider this your beloved ugly mopars are safe from me buying them up..
If gto all original 68 gto probably worth a little more
That '68 GTO should be around 4 or 5 grand tops.
And that's a little high in my opinion.
Thanks for watching and commenting
actually it is chevy all that rust then fix and all that broken chevy motor about correct mopars rock
🤣🤣
Thanks for watching and commenting
The GTO listed in Kansas with a Texas plate
I thought it had a Texas plate.. but hell that don't really mean it's in either state if it's a project thats not on the road.
Thanks for watching and commenting
The 63 Galaxie is a Thunderbolt clone.
Thanks for watching and commenting
No I wouldn't pay beret Jackson auction prices 😂😂
🤣🤣🤣.. even if I had that insane amount of money I'd never spend that either.
Thanks for watching and commenting
If that's a true GTO, it's low end on the options...and I'm way over the bowtie boat anchors in non GM vehicles...
Yeah it would have been nice to see the build sheet on that gto..to know for sure what it is.. everyone uses a chevy motor just because you can build them cheap ,and parts are available. Thanks for watching and commenting
The falcon was nice but it was way out of there on the price. These prices are insane
Yes I agree with you there..
Thanks for watching and commenting
Dude, IDK bout the 64 Falcon. It looks like every panel gap is way off.... I would be afraid of that.
It's really hard to make that assumption from the pictures available.. I see some of what your talking about , some of that can be removed by a little adjustment.. but good eye to catch that.
Thanks for watching and commenting
That Blazer wasn't worth that much when it was new
Be better if use same brand motor
prices to dam high!!
Absolutely.
Thanks for watching and commenting
I agree that Chrysler made some ugly cars in the early/ mid 60s, but not as ugly as the trucks!
Yes absolutely the trucks had a face only a mother could love...
The 57 is way high
Thanks for watching and commenting
The 68 gto is not even the disireed body style. It's a 5k car bud not 16k. They are dreaming. How can it be a driver when there's no seats. What is it bring your own bucket to drive.
Hey I drove them home on a bucket.. 😆
Thanks for watching and commenting
Always thought those '57 Chevs were as f'ugly as a car could be, but the 4 door version is even f'uglier...
Really.. meaning the 57 two door... the four door I understand.
But I have to say you're the first I've ever heard say that about one.
Personally I like the 57 pontiac better myself.
Thanks for watching and commenting
@@MOTORHEADMISFITS-zk9su Yeah 2 door. I'm a diehard Ford man!
🤣 I kinda figured.
Thanks for watching
your comments kept me coming back.🤣
Awesome.. glad you liked it.
Thanks for watching and commenting
People have lost their minds on most of these and almost every one of them forgot to clean up and refresh the engines
Yeah they lost there minds for the prices there asking.
Absolutely 💯%.. man some of the crap I find has been sitting in a scrap yard for 50yrs.. full of rat droppings and other foul stuff.. and they are like I seen one at auction go for a 100k.. that means this one is worth 90k.. lol
That's right
I'm totally sick and tired of this patina added BS. Then ask perfect paint job prices. Clear coated patina even worse. More work to sand it down and do a proper paint job/ Flat black paint hides a car being full of dings and dang its.
That ain’t no gto it’s a rebadge Le Mans
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Almost all were priced at double the price they were worth...seems like the asking prices were thrown at the wall to see what would stick! SAD!!!
Yes and thats very sad.. they are so outrageously priced that they won't be saved in most cases.
Thanks for watching and commenting
The GTO isnt a real goat no gto came with a bench and column shifter and wrong steering wheel.
I do agree.. but honestly without a build sheet and vin# we will never know if they special ordered.
