Maybe enforce the law instead of just letting them out of jail immediately.
yea good one
Democrat policies
Blacks are not held accountable for their actions because that would be racist 😂🙄
But, that doesn't even make sense. You can't just lock up 10 people over and over, you genius. That's not due process.
You can't enforce laws against BLM supporters.
All the officers in the world can't save a collapsing society.
Which is exactly what’s happening. Over-inflated economy, massive layoffs, freeze in hiring, imminent world war, and weather that is destroying human outposts. That’s not even including the turmoil within citizens here in the US, massive political and law enforcement corruption, corporate rule, and the rich 1%ers owning more wealth than almost 70% of the entire world up together. Yet capitalist yeehaws, and blind loyal party voters think everything is just fine, and can be fixed with taking out the opposing party.
True. John Adams, himself, said this American Experiment could only work with a populace that was moral and upright. We have lost the basic respect for our laws, for each other, and the nation continues to slip further and further into authoritarianism. We look almost exactly like early 1930s Germany.
We need the rooftop Koreans back to protect these stores.
The cops are bigger criminals in the crooks
@@norm2264 Sounds like you got arrested one too many times and you think it's the cops fault for why you're a criminal now. Lol.
retailers should band together and sue the government for allowing this to happen
You gave them license to steal what did you think was going to happen
That license was called the “The Safe Neighborhoods and Schools Act” put out there by no other then Harris herself. It basically let's anyone get away with crime

You'll be surprised but I recently went to a Barnes & Noble location in San Diego County and they've been locking their restrooms recently because of this recent vandalism.
In a weird way, I enjoy seeing how chaotic this is getting.
Because we don’t live there haha
Lol same.

Another task force that will be one step behind the criminals.
You do get it right? The task force will comprise of their buddies and guess what? they all make more money from the chaos. It's how the democrats operate. They never solve a problem ever. It's a mess for a reason. Because they profit from it.

Forever tweaking that solution but totally ignore the cause.

Someday they'll throw out this corrupt system.
It's their right.

Is not safe to go shopping anywhere in California,
But the left lies to us when passing soft on crime bills. In california prop 47 which is a soft on crime bill was called “The Safe Neighborhoods and Schools Act”
maybe they should make it against the law to do that and then enforce it
Like we do in RED STATES.
@@Reaper-cm4jr In my blue state we made it totally legal to rob whatever store you want if you keep it under $900. It's called the safe neighborhood act.
These people are probably the same type to flex their stolen goods and brag about how much money they get and call you broke 😂
This is the only way they can make more money while still being able to qualify for welfare.
Many I know have stopped going to malls to shop because of these robberies and gun violence. It is getting less safe over the years and no one enjoys shopping knowing that there is always danger lurking behind. Gov at various levels should really seriously attend to these problems, as these do drive consumers away.
How many of them are agnostics or athiests?
The more society moves in the direction of rejecting G-d, in favor of constantly changing and biased, man made "morality", the more corrupt and violent, it becomes.
Here, I am one 😂
The robbers are Joe Biden supporters. That's why DAs are allowing them to loose on the street.
People can't afford gas but have Higher demand for $25k stolen bags... 😮....yea sure
When shoplifters are caught and before a judge. He should sentence them to Community Service cleaning up garbage & POOP off the street of LA. The first offense is one month, the second offense 3 months, and the third offense is one year. They will be supervised by a Social worker and if they refuse to work they get sent to jail.
This is a main reason why our prices on Everything goes up. If these shoplifters knew that they would charged with felonies for it and go to prison, they might think twice about doing it
I don't think we've seen the impact on the price Of goods yet. This is all fairly new. They're gonna start charging a fortune for everything. Because they're letting Criminals go in there and take it. Then somebody's got to pay for that.
Please stop and realize that you are complaining about $1,000+ designer handbags will get too expensive.
@@DistrustHumanz And they're stealing cheap, everyday stuff as well. You sincerely think poor people won't feel the effects of these thefts?

How is it law prevent store owners to shoot looters is beyond comprehension. Looters should understand their life could get expired before they go looting.
You value human property over human life. How sad
a black mother should not have to worry every time her son goes out looting
What if the media calls it peaceful protesting? Would that change your mind at all?
@@Americanbadashh when those human lives are part of the criminal element who take advantage of everyone they come across then their lives aren't worth more than the property they are stealing. stealing a loaf of bread so that your children don't go hungry is one thing, clearing an entire rack of random clothes from a department store is quite another.
They ain't robbing gun stores lol they go after stores kids and women shop at
Also to others if you didn't grow up entitled, then you would know that property is your life if you can't feed your family
I haven't decided if its because the price of everything is going up and wages going down, or if its because everyone is afraid to confront black suspects nowadays and be charged with racism. Or if cities are simply turning criminals back on the streets. Would be interested to see the statistics.
How is it, they pass a law saying theft below 1000 is a misdemeanor, crime goes up, and people wonder why? And we see the backlash if a thief dies over their own bad behavior.... So you tie their hands...
@@Tential1 dies? Pfft. If a black person is even accused of shoplifting and its a mistake, it makes national headlines and they get sued for millions in a racism lawsuit. That part I'm seeing at least here on UA-cam
The problem is if you listen to the democrat leaders they will say crime is way down because they do not prosecute criminals anymore. The system is set up that way to bring crime down even though it's not down.
Develop a system where you have to scan your ID upon entering. At least cops can track them down then. The honest people don't mind showing their IDs
Then they will start stealing ids just to get in
I know there are quite a few people who are honest and not thieves but who would nevertheless balk at showing their ID as a matter of course (personal freedom and all that)
So your answer to retail theft is a prison society?
@@pretzelstick320either prosecute the criminals, or, if you're going to go into a business I invest in, I'm going to think of every way to protect profits that pay my dividends. So, the solution is, you need to swipe a credit card to enter the store, which is a 250 deposit which is refunded upon exit, with a double barred gating entry and exit, so if you try to leave without paying, you get trapped.
Like she said, "these billion dollar companies aren't protecting their product?" well, you won't let us use security guards because if someone dies you'll sue for billions so enjoy expensive prison shopping or Amazon delivery (25%+ of my networth is in this. An armed guard at the door would be much cheaper, along with automatic locking doors.
Bring back mandatory minimums and you won’t have this problem anymore. Judges letting serial thieves out of jail over and over needs to stop. People spent $500 extra dollars at the grocery store last year due to theft. I don’t understand why the government doesn’t do anything when this is affecting the entire country by large margins.
The democrats are ROOTING for this chaos. And WHOEVER voted blue...
Lol, they didn't work the first time. Why would they now?
If home depot and Walmart has to raise their prices because of theft it puts them at a competitive disadvantage to online retailers like Amazon that don't have to contend with this type of issue.
I say that we take away the guards of our government officials. They should have no more protection then anyone of us have. No more perks for them. Lots of laws would be changing in a big way if that happened.
Corporation profits have risen 300% over the last 2 years. Don’t feel bad for these billionaires. They’re the reason why everything has gone up. They all collectively raised prices and lowered the value of our dollar
In central America there are armed guards in front of stores even some super markets and I mean armed!

The real problem is not the law its the Insurance companies that protect the store. I have been a supervisor and manager of CVS, Best Buy and more. Every store I have worked at tells you. You can’t touch them. Only intimidate… unless the store hire it’s own private security or police. We can’t touch them without a $162 Guard card. Which is why this Vet got one. "Higher retail costs because of thefts like these" Doubtful. If anything it's just another excuse for companies to raise their costs even higher.
In reality it’s maybe 1-4%(4% being in places like Oakland) of operating cost. The damage is in the confidence and safety of the workers who don’t want to deal with this every week, and the shoppers who don’t want to feel threatened when they’re shopping.
@@pretzelstick320false. You literally could just read the freaking financials. Dollar general stock just plummeted due to theft. The business of Walmart has 1-2% margins. If you steal, you take 100% loss, and you need 50-100 days of profit to recover. So it's far more severe. If it's not that bad, pass a law that reimburses the businesses with your tax dollars. Since it's "not much money" and you want the thieves to have it, pay for it.
@@Tential1 Really it's a way for politicians to say that crime is way down because they do not prosecute criminals anymore. Politicians pat themselves on the back and say good job but really you see more crime each day when you go out.

Holy smokes this isnt rocket science, FBI. 😂
Companies need to invest in the employees by certifying and paying employees more to conceal/ open carry on the store premises... and if something happens back up their employees and go after the thief( etc.) with extreme prejudice legally!!! 1)the employees that get to carry must wear a camera, 2) pass a company approved certification course, then finally 3)put up a sign informing customers of the rules and precautions in the store, basically inform customers that theft and other inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated at all in this store and to (yes) shop at your own risk!!
Proposition 47 will ensure that these thefts continue to be charged as misdemeanors individually. California's woes are self-inflicted.
"Nationwide"
And CBS has the audacity to block out these criminals' faces.
Cashless bail has consequences.
Yeah that’s it.🙄
Why not set up a security system that locks all doors with a push of a button? The flash mob then can try to find a way out of the store with their loot, while the police are on route to arrest them.
That would just make them threaten everyone until they find their way out which can lead to a killing.
Retail theft has gone on over the last 20+ years and keeps increasing. Out of liability most businesses can’t stop or accuse someone of theft, most let them walk. The employee hand book advised let them go, out of your own safety and to protect the business from legal backlash. You just write the stuff off insurance.
Corporate profits have skyrocketed while the rest of us starve. Duh
And The Sackler Family declares bankruptcy.
Banks get bailed out and still get to steal your home.
And shut the store down when it's no profitable. there goes the jobs and then we all have to steal from whom to get by? They will be out mugging people on the streets.
Make things affordable again

Perhaps if we didn't spend that 1.7 trillion dollars of the inflation reduction act things would be cheaper.
Throw an iron net over them when they flee the stores. And then put some electricity on the nets.
Install cages that fall from the ceiling to trap them. And put some electricity on these cages.

how do we know if an item on ebay is stolen unless a law is made where highly visible tags are put on the item that requires a special key to remove and is removed when purchased and would have an alarm trigger built in.
similar to them large clamshell stapler looking tags used by clothing stores in the 80s.
visible so both the customer and the cashiers can see them so they could not be easily left on to get taken out of the store.
alarm triggering so even if the cashier should overlook and forget to remove the tag it would set off the alarm and remind them that they forgot to remove one.
dye pack inside so if someone tried to remove it without the key the dye would ruin the product.
the tag also has to be made so it cant easily be removed without the key.
the plastic detectors that are in every product can be defeated with a magnet and often it is a magnet that the store uses to deactivate them.
it is to the point where stores are putting the stuff behind lock and key even the smaller less expensive stuff like basic body care stuff like toothpaste and soaps and shampoos.

So what happens to real estate prices, when retailers have to close their doors? Or is the idea to short the real estate market and retail, by changing the the laws to tie the hands of law-enforcement?
Lol. It's just riding the wave. We don't force stuff. We just take advantage of it. If you want to enact a policy that will destroy your real estate market then we're going to short it, it's not like we have to create your idiocy you do that all on your own. You passed so many stupid laws every year that you always are going to make some mistake that people in finance can take advantage of. I've read billions of pages of legalese. A congress person writing a law to regulate something has an at best high-school level of the finance involved, and if you layer in the financial complexity the industry normally does, half the time, the regulation you pass does the exact opposite of your intention. It's impossible to regulate what is essentially financial black magic. But we rarely purposely cause stuff. Just react. Like inflation reduction act. OK... Read the full thing, find the idiotic hand outs, invest in those businesses. You don't have the time, we do.... So we get the money. Pretty basic.

People are taking cartful of merchandise items like its free for all. Retailers won't do nothing cause of the insurance. They can make claims for the total amount.
