Thank you so much! I am starting my babysitting job in less than 7 months ( babysitting for friends) and this channel is basically the thing that saves my life. ❤❤❤
That is awesome! I know that is just around the corner and I hope you love it. Remember, don't sweat the small stuff but you can always reach out to an adult if you need help. I can't wait to hear how it goes!!
How do I start babysitting as a 12 year old? I have no experience (except for 7 year old brother) (5 year age gap) and my friends little sisters. I also have no phone but I do have a watch only to text family members
There are a lot of classes you can take either in person or online and they can give you the basics like how to save a baby without choking and other very important first aid things. You can also start by drawing posters but it’s important to be a qualified babysitter because they’re gonna be things you can’t handle so you need to have at least a tiny bit of experience And start babysitting kids in your neighbourhood and price determines on how many kids the behaviours of kids in the house conditions all those things can make prices rise or lower for things if there is a kid that is very missed behaved you can charge them $.50 more only for the inconvenience or if you need help, Child with homework, you can charge $.50 more and have adults in your life spread the news around to their friends, coworkers and that’s all I can help with
@@Yourfavyt-kv2wy I started babysitting around the age of 13. I have 3 younger sitters, so I knew how to take care of little ones. I took an in-person babysitting course, and I got CPR certified. I also know the Heimlich for infants, toddlers, kids, and even adults. I'm now 14 and have been babysitting my neighbors daughters for about a year now.
I am so excited for you! Babysitting is the best! I would first talk to your parents. It is important to talk to them about your desire to babysit in your community. They can also probably reach out to some of their friends and coworkers for your first jobs if they feel you are ready. Second, a babysitting course is a must! I took Safe Sitter, which was awesome. Just make sure you take a class that covers safety rescue skills (like choking and CPR). Lastly, just make sure you do have access to a phone when on a babysitting job. If an emergency were to come up, you want to be able to call 9-1-1, the parents, or another trusted adult. Good luck!
