The children APPEAR well behaved. This was a nice video. I am not asking you what you made, but I am asking you what do you feel is a fair salary for a live in nanny in your area for what you do in a day. You mentioned on another post that you are caring for relative children, do you feel the compensation was equal to your work? I ask because I am looking to hire a nanny in my area and I just would like to have the perspective of another nanny. Did you enjoy being a live-in nanny? Do you think you would have enjoyed it more or less if it were not your family member?
I was most definitely underpaid, I made about $600 a month. I’m not really sure what a live in nanny makes, but I’m really hoping it’s more than that. It’s a lot of hard work I was basically the third parent. As a 17 year old I loved my niece and nephew with all my heart and didn’t really think about the pay too much. Now I’m 20 years old and I know that that was not right. I’m not sure how I would feel living with strangers, it depends how comfortable I would be around the parents of the children. 💜
If you are still looking/interested, I suggest joining some Facebook groups in your area for Nannies looking for work. It really depends on your area, level of experience, etc. live-in nannies are NOT allowed to be paid less than live-out (rent can't be taken off of pay) if it's a requirement of the job
The more experience the higher the pay. Any pay rate between $20-25 per hour id pretty standard. Area makes a big difference also. NYC has many higher paying jobs. $30-$35+ per hour is not un heard of.
Being a nanny? I enjoy it, it’s difficult but worth it when the kids show affections to me. As a nanny, I got to travel to Europe which was a good experience
Look into au pair agencies! Live for free in the US (or Europe) and you nanny for a family. Usually it's for a year but it could be more. You also get spending money for the weekends.
What a good video you know I love babies my great desire in this life is to be a father although the only thing is that I would not like to have to change diapers ha but well hopefully one day I can be a father

@@alanamikail721 was you in the US making $600 a month as a live in nanny?

Especially by today’s standards !!
The kids are eating pure sugar for breakfast 😅
for a baby of that age, dont you have to cut the bread pieces into something smaller otherwise its a chocking hazard?? just wondering
no, thank you for the concern though
Love it 🫢
Hello, I'm from Bangladesh,
Do you have any kind of sponsorship job in USA.
I’m a nanny too!
nice, how do you like it?
Being a nanny? I enjoy it, it’s difficult but worth it when the kids show affections to me. As a nanny, I got to travel to Europe which was a good experience
wow that sounds amazing, now i’m a caregiver at a independent nursing home
I rly wish If I could live in America and get a nanny job I rly do even I can't wait to have my own kids but anyways love from India
Look into au pair agencies! Live for free in the US (or Europe) and you nanny for a family. Usually it's for a year but it could be more. You also get spending money for the weekends.
