Sakurai: counts to 17 on one hand.

Japanese/Chinese people can already count to 9 or 10 on one hand, but the binary method to count to 31 is more effective.
You can actually count way more efficient if your don't use base 2 like he did but base 3 by bending your fingers half way as well.
Sakurai: you can count up to 21 with one hand
but if you use the other hand you can count up to 123

Joker: Rebel’s Gauge allows you to call on the power of Arsene
Hero: Critical Hits and command selection just like in Dragon Quest
Banjo: Only move in the game that’s limited based on stocks
Terry: Original command inputs and super special moves
Byleth: *He’s not like the other Fire Emblem guys*

Hampton Me Banjo’s side special is Wonderwing and you can only use it 5 times before you’re unable to. The only way to use it again is if you die. It’s a strong invincible move and the only thing that works against it is grabs and shields.

FoulRookie Brawler is too slow to get in on Banjo and Banjo is hard to get in on in the first place.

Most characters get buffs to frame data or hitboxes with each DLC patch...
Mii Gunner gets buffs to costume selection. Which type of buff ACTUALLY attracts players, hmm?

Unpopular opinion, I’m pretty hyped for byleth. Loved 3 houses and looking forward to seeing all of the offstage shenanigans people will do with the up b.
I think it would’ve been smart to swap byleth with banjo or terry though so they would be released around the same time 3 houses was. That would’ve been pretty cool.
The thing I’m worried about is all the WiFi warriors spamming the neutral b for a few weeks after byleth is released.
We are of the unpopular opinion. I am hyped for Byleth. Will crush the remaining salt out of them with Byleth. They were so disappointed when Byleth was announced. I am happy because Three Houses is a good game.
I am hyped as well. And honestly the arrow could be annoying but it also has it's weaknesses and vulnerabilities so if they spam it they're gonna get punished. Anyway yeah this character looks great.

Why do people always assume alt costumes are echo fighters?
The worst part is that they confirmed in one of the directs that no one from the fighter pass would be an echo

I like how in the trailer before the reveal of the extra weapons, he/she only uses sword moves. Nice attention to detail.

They did that with Megaman's reveal too. Sticks to basic buster -> gets wrecked -> breaks out the Robot Master hardware.

Yeah. He's completely original. He looks amazing and fun. Also Robin and Corrin were pretty different than the rest as well but people still just call them trash cuz they hate anime.

Really happy with this, I don't even play FE but man it's a pretty cool character. I hope up-b can do some sort of combo and if not it'll be sick for some double combos for sure

Ryu isn't THAT slow! It was said that Byleth would be only slightly faster than Robin, one of the slowest characters in smash history (which is justified by the fact that all their specials can be done quickly, albiet limited). Ryu has SOME pep in his step.
@@TheMadwomen also ryus attacks are mostly safe and don't leave him wide open or come out slow
Guess the color pattern theory forgot that Piranha Plant isn't in the Fighters Pass proper. So it's actually:
Joker = red, Hero = purple, Banjo & Kazooie = yellow, Terry = blue, Byleth = green
...Think the next Pass has a color pattern, too?
Loving this new character. I know I know, more FE (I'm not a fan of the Series) but this is a really fun looking character. Great design too!

I was a bit disappointed with the Cuphead reveal not being fully original. His transformations would be amazing as special moves and his final smash would be so unique!
Specials could be different weapons, but normal wouldn't make sense imo.
Dany Stasolla as a character who would probably mostly have projectiles tho, I could easily see him being toxic. But we’ll never know now
Smash finally has a lot of Western game representation, and not just Japanese only.
Hard to believe. But now we have Assassin's Creed, Undertale, Rayman, Cuphead, and Banjo-Kazooie recognized by the reserved and insular Japan-centric Nintendo.

I really am not that upset over a FE character being announced, I'm just more surprised that FP1 ended on a 1st Party Character after 4 3rd Party Characters.
You should rather watch the UK version. That version is subtitled, which makes it easier for your fans to follow along what is said, and also for you when you get loud :)
Plus, the US version has some censorship, such as this time changing the title of "Assassin's Creed" to "Altaïr". They also didn't voice the part at 15:10, but it was subtitled in the UK version.

Only a few third-party Mii Fighter costumes from For have yet to return here: Hunter's Mail, Rathalos Armor, Lloyd, Heihachi, Gil, Chocobo, and Geno. Those are from Capcom, Namco, and Square-Enix.

This is the 8th FE character. More than Zelda, Star Fox, Xenoblade, Kirby... Only Mario Series has more and Pokemon has the same amount.
