Just today I completed Carbon with the harder AI mod. Started with tuners and suffered for 3 days vs Kenji's FD. Then I bought the Eclipse, which made Tier 2 a breeze. However, Tier 3 was hell until I acquired the Mercedes SLR. Speed was satisfactory, but the steering vs. the unlocked AI just doesn't compete. I was suffering for another 3 days vs Darius. His Audi's cornering speed is just unreal. Since the final canyon has a lot of hairpins I though tuners would do better but no. I bought a Skyline and it did not have better cornering at all, just worse speed and acceleration. Finally I caved and bought the Dodge Viper. Yep, overtook Darius in the first turn and that's how I managed to win vs the modded AI. It's stupidly imbalanced. Acceleration > everything else in Carbon because of drift builds. Grip builds are completely unviable vs the unlocked AI, because they all understeer too much even with oversteer suspension. Drift builds on the other hand are broken. It lets let you steer harder and keep most of the speed, just gotta know how to come out of the drift fast so you can accelerate early (without nitrous). A muscle can have comparable cornering with a tuner as long as you set it up for drift. FYI, the mod doesn't make them cheat by making the car faster, it just prevents the AI from slowing down for you. It lets them use their own car to its maximum potential at all times. As far as straight line speed goes, the Mercedes could compete with that (was a tiny bit faster even on the straight).

• Opel Astra
• Jensen Interceptor
• Jaguar F-Type
• Jaguar XJ
• Bentley Azure
• Bentley Flying Spur
• Rolls Royce Ghost
• BMW M8
• Porsche 914
• Audi e-tron GT RS
• Peugeot 505
• Peugeot RCZ
• Škoda 125 S
• Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG
• Volkswagen Borra
• Volkswagen Karmann Ghia
• Volkswagen SP2
• Saab Sonett
I think vauxhall monaro can count as an european muscle (even though its counted as a muscle in the game, it has attributes similar to tuners) because vauxhall is a british car company (im unsure)
@@aqop5548 is it? Vauxhall was Australian if i remember correctly
@@M1551NGN0 the aussie one is holden, gone bankrupt in 2020 iirc
Vauxhall is British, Holden is australian
You make it look so easy lmao the only one I was able to pass was Kenji in his Mitsubishi
That was the hardest for me in Exotics. I did it quite dirty as you saw.
@@MarkVinewood yeah lmao, I usually prefer exotics but muscle has been growing on me
The Corvette is my main like damn
That car paired with the infinite nitro cheat is a beast
@@ThingusRaccomagucus Corvette is the best car in the game , at least for me
@@joeblack5253 oh i can agree, just messing around with the inifinate nitro cheat on GameCube was heaps of fun
@@joeblack5253 the roar tho
i dont know i how i beat nfsc with mazda lol
I never race with exotic cars, never.
I go with muscle cars all the time. From Camaro SS to Corvette. Despite many attempts in Canyon Races, I did good.
Tuners are great too! I managed to beat darius in Kenji's RX-7, literally. :O
For me they are the hardest to drive but the most fun and broken once you learn how to use them, The Charger is a monster even being Tier 2, I used a Hemi Barracuda to beat Darius my first time XD.
If my memory didn't fail me, the Elise had good handling back in NFSMW when it was maxed out, so seeing it as an exotic in Carbon let me confused as a kid. Not to mention how some cars got nerfed from MW to Carbon because of the tier separation.
@@ElPJSaapeee yes, since it looks like a tuner car a hatchback
Huh! You need to master the damn class, I mastered it so it was no sweat to beat Darius in a stock Elise and a Maxed out Brera
Angies boss race is so easy even her 2nd race is just as easy
tbf only tier 2 exotic cars suck a$$ and not even all of them. its just too bad the db9 and Mercedes in tier 2 a freaken boats that cant accelerate and the one thing they good at is top speed but they cant even reach it. Tier 1 exotic cars are best, tier 2 tuner cars are best, tier 3 muscle cars are best. tier 1 exotic cars are actual balance, tier 2 half of em are boats, tier 3 exotics are actually goof but the acceleration of muscle cars is stupid af
Almost every exotic car have understeer problem except lotus, carrera gt and ford gt
how can i download the game again on pc
Looks hard
Will be hard
Carrera GT was by far the best exotic in this game
It is. I'd say it's on the same level as Darius' car, and I'd count that as an exotic car too. Darius' car handles better I'd say, but the Carrera GT is a bit faster when maxed out, especially the top speed of it
@electricboi9319 definitely. I've noticed in Need For Speed games in general the top end on the Carrera GT is actually crazy
I know they expect people to just believe anything because they say so.
trying to drive a 240SX with Max Upgrade to beat Daruis
The best exotic might actually be the Lotus Elise
Lotus vehicles should be considered to be tuners not exotics
i prefer the porsche cayman, the steering ratio on the elise... terrible
BMW M3 GTR the only Exotic but have a Tuner and Muscle style.
It's more on tuner than muscle. Its natural aspiration limits its power potential.
Tune them for understeer. Seriously.
Makes them oversteer for some reason. Well, kinda.
They still understeer, but oversteer.
What I'm trying to say is:
Exotic Car do better corners understeer. Okay?
kenji's evo is easy to beat, you just can't handle the lotus that is a 50/50 tuning exotic
Now pull away from all bosses
At the very least Kenji is easily left in the dust with any Tier 2 and in Tier 3 as well (the EVO is very bad, as are all Tier 3 tuners). The muscle girls as well, since she can't take corners at all both in her Tier 2 and Tier 3 cars. Wolf... idk, maybe. In the Murcielago at least he's pretty damn fast.
El Alfa Romeo Brera no tiene nada de Exótico
bruh understeer
Wether the car is oversteering or understeering doesn't matter to me, I always manage to drive and steer right, It's not difficult if you're a good pilot like me.
Soo exotics are meh since you can beat the game with a tier 2 car but others good when used against the same tier i got it :D 🤡😝
Why "Meh"? Exotics are the fastest class in the game lol
Top speed means little if the means of reaching it are lacking. Muscles have a comparatively lower top speed, but accelerate like *mad*; meanwhile tuners still fall behind muscles overall, but their poor top end is effectively made up for by their excellent handling. Exotics simply don't have a lot of places to shine in Carbon.
@@ATomatoIsAFruit And who said you exotics is only top speed? Exotics are a balance between the three points and you never realised that lol 😂😂. Exotics have exactly same top speed than muscles (Medium).
And 2: Who said you acceleration is the most important point? In a race, the handling is what dominates. In your theory, if you put a dragster to beat an F1 in a race track, the dragster would win, and it's completely no sense and out of logic. The F1's are the world fastest cars because of it's handling. Once a car from chaparral foundry was BANNED from automobilism because the handling was very far superior than other cars. And more: This car was lower top speed and acceleration than others. So what makes you think acceleration is what make the race? This is not american drag racing. Need for speed carbon have corners and big straight lines, which allows handling and top speed work better
@@TITANa.k.a.RADIATION173 minor correction, Exotic has a MUCH higher top speed, but an average handling and acceleration, compared to Muscle. Even with correct tuning, as the Hemi Cuda (M) and Ford GT (E) has 470 & 520 kmh cap, the fastest in their respective class.
Also, unlike Rockport, Palmont lacks roads with long wide-straight line (except in Kempton) and generally have a lot of curves and hairpins, especially in canyon, thus acceleration, handling, and good cornering speed are prioritized more compared to top speed leading to Exotic being ignored in general (not helping most of them understeer a lot and are quite expensive). More so that we barely get to race in the highway during career.
@@TITANa.k.a.RADIATION173 the theory is sound, and in the real world I'd never compare an F1 car to a dragster. It's just that in Carbon, exotics simply are underwhelming one way or another.
@@ATomatoIsAFruit Do you play the game? Don't you realised exotics have a little bit more acceleration than tuners, same top speed than muscles, and medium handling? They have the best attributes balance possible. I think you don't play the game lol 😂😂. They have medium top speed acceleration and handling
